Whether its one of Tahoe's glorious summer mornings or sunsets, you will love the large deck at the front of the cabin to enjoy the Lake view or enjoy a small private sitting area on the side of the cabin, perfect to read a book or just take in the quiet beauty of the trees all around. With protected forest land partially in front and along one side of the cabin, you'll have ample privacy while overlooking truly majestic blue waters.
The stainless Kenmore appliances and 42' flat screen HDTV offer your guests a feeling of home away from home. You will all get a good night's sleep too on the comfortable beds. We hope you enjoy your stay.

We had a perfect summer vacation at the Lake View Cabin. The cabin is located at Rubicon Bay near the best private beach in all of Tahoe - no crowds, nice sand and no rocks. Perfect for those who kayak. The house has old Tahoe charm with logged walls and a big stone fireplace. The kitchen has all the amenities of home - no need to bring my good knives and a waffle iron. We had lakeview sunset dinners on the deck and roasted marshmellows over the outdoor firepit. A good night sleep was had by all on the comfortable beds. We will be back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

My wife and I and another couple have stayed here twice. We stayed once in the winter and enjoyed the beautiful lake views and the snow shoe hikes and the cozy warm livingroom nestled by the fireplace. We stayed a week in the summer and enjoyed the visits to many sites around the lake, Vikingsholm is nearby, also many hiking trails and smaller lakes. The cabin is cozy, clean and well equipped. . There is an outside deck that is really great for enjoying the lake view. There is a B-B-Q on the deck and we enjoyed having meals there during the summer week. This is such a quiet and relaxing place to just unwind. The owners were very accommodating.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
