We rented the main home as well as the guest house and we loved them both! It was a perfect fit for our weekend getaway! The home was clean and cozy! The beds were comfy. Well stocked kitchen and pantry. Cable, movies, books and wifi. It was quiet and peaceful! Great location, just minutes into downtown Estes Park! We would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing time in Estes Park at the snowed inn. My family and parents, a total of 8, enjoyed sledding, hiking and relaxation during our visit. We had all the amenities of home so we didn't have to worry about bringing much. The owner is very pleasant and accommodating. This will be a destination that we hope to visit again and again.

Our stay at Snowed Inn was just ok. The location is great. The kitchen was great to cook in and the rooms were relatively comfortable. There is, however, only one shower in the property. The master bath has a tub but no shower. With 5 adults staying in the house, this made showering difficult. Also, the tub drains very slowly so bathing our infant son was tricky. The bedrooms are cozy but do not have enough storage/closet space for clothes. The owner was great at replying to emails in the lead up to our stay. We did have trouble getting into the cabin though and didn't hear from her until the next morning despite contacting her multiple times. Overall, our stay here was mediocre.

A few friends and I were looking to escape the city for a more comfortable New Year's Eve experience and Snowed Inn Estes was the perfect place to make that happen. Cheryl was amazingly accomodating in getting us set up. There was tons of room for our group to spread out. The kitchen was great for letting us cook up a bunch of food. I can't speak highly enough of the experience. Thank you so much!

Owner response: Thank you so much for your kind comments. Mthanks for being such good guests.

Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday at Snowed Inn. It was so cozy and the accommodations were perfect for our large family. The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved the open floor plan. The location was close to town and perfect viewing for elk grazing in the meadow. We would definately rent again if the occasion arises.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at Snowed Inn Estes and it was wonderful! It's amazing because as soon as I walked in I felt like we were home, and I have to say for someone to feel comfortable in a "strangers" home and surroundings I think is an amazing accomplishment. We will with out a doubt be back to Snowed Inn Estes as well as recommend it to others. Everything was clean, photos were exact and Cheryl is so helpful with any questions or concerns(not that we had any). Loved waking up having my morning coffee on the front patio everyday and the newly built stairs and patio look wonderful! It's close enough to Estes so we easily made it to town to shop, to the park to hike, or even to elk watch, but far enough to feel like you have your own space and privacy. The home has everything you need. Thank you so much, we couldn't have been happier and will return!

Owner response: I hope we get to meet next time. Thanks again and the house was in awesome shape.

We came to Estes Park for our son's wedding celebration and we had a lovely time with family and friends at Snowed Inn. It was very warm and cozy! Having a semi-stocked fridge was a money saver for sure! Cheryl gave us some great tips and was very helpful with booking our stay. We had a great time! Thank you so much!

We all enjoyed our stay at the Snowed Inn, Estes. This was our second visit and we just loved the scenery, the new landscaping work & the overall coziness of the cabin. We watched coyotes hunting every morning from the deck & really enjoyed cooking on the grill. The cabin has everything you would need. The beds are comfortable, rooms spacious & the warm welcome from the owners was second to none. We would recommend the Snowed Inn, Estes to anyone. Thanks Cheryl and Dan for sharing your lovely home with us.....

The property we rented included a three bedroom, two bath house, and an adjacent one bedroom, one bath cabin with a sleeping loft, located about four miles from town. The house is well furnished and the kitchen very functional. Both units were clean. Cell telephone reception is poor to nonexistent, but we could text and e-mail without difficulty. There are land lines to both units, which share the same number. A car or two will be necessary to take full advantage area attractions. The scenery is nice and abounds with wild life. My son in law encountered two bear on his morning jog, and we saw a couple of elk The immediate cabin area is protected by rabbits and chipmunks. The owner was very helpful. It was good to have a working kitchen because, in general, the restaurants in town are mediocre. Our son in law is an excellent cook and there is a good grocery store on the edge of town. The main attraction of the area is the national park, which is spectacular. Much of the park is accessible by car, but there are many trails of varying difficulty which lead to more remote areas. The fishing was pretty slow, but that may be related to the low water levels occasioned by the drouth. I would have no reservations in recommending this comfortable facility

Owner response: Thanks so much for your kind remarks. I rate you as a top vacationer in my home. You left the house in great shape.

We could have used additional interior lighting, and we could not get the WiFi to work. The house is nicely decorated. The furnishings are comfortable. The kitchen is user friendly, which was good since the selection of eateries in Estes Park is abysmal, almost without exception. The houses enjoys a quiet, pretty setting

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Owner response: So sorry you couldn't get the wifi to work. I am using it here right now, so don't know why it didn't work the past few days. I will look into getting another light in the living room. I enjoyed your kind remarks in my guest book. Thanks again.

We booked both the main house and the guest house for my daughter's 17th birthday weekend. The kids (8 of them) stayed in the main house and my husband and I stayed in the guesthouse. Both were beautiful, clean and completely well stocked. The owner's were extremely accomodating and helpful. We enjoyed it immensely and wouldn't heistate for a minute to return. Thank you!

We so enjoyed this beautifully remodeled home in Estes Park! It was great to be just outside of town- the kids were able to sled in the back yard (we have little kids)! The flannel sheets were super comfortable and the home was perfect to sit and connect with our friends and get away for a much needed break! Thank you Cheryl for your well stocked, comfortable, inviting home- we enjoyed it so much!

Every year, a group of men from our church attend a Men's Conference held in Estes Park, CO. This year's experience was made much more enjoyable by our stay at Snowed Inn Estes!!! We found this property to be even better than advertised. There was plenty of very comfortable sleeping room for the group of 9. Our group also used the Guest House - a cool space with a great sleeping area and the kitchenette there is a great touch. The main kitchen area was perfect for cooking for our group...lots of space and supplies provided. We enjoyed our time in the Living area as well. The open floor plan of the kitchen and living area allowed for eating, visiting, and games, etc... to all be happening simultaneously. Dan & Cheryl, the owners, were both extremely kind and helpful to us during the booking process and during our stay. Besides the property itself, their kindness was a definite draw. We definitely plan on staying there again in the future and would recommend this property for your family or group stay in Estes Park!!! Sincerely, Pastor Greg Albritton The Pentecostals of Loveland Loveland, CO

Snowed Inn in Estes was a great place to take our large family for a Thanksgiving Holiday. The kitchen/ dining area/ great room was where we spent the majority of our time. The kitchen had modern appliances and a well stocked kitchen so it was not difficult to have a Thanksgiving meal here. The living room area was comfortable and cozy with the beautiful decorations and fireplace. Bedrooms were nicely decorated with comfortable mattresses and plenty of extra blankets for cold winter nights. We also utilized the guest house which allowed us to spread out. There are two bathrooms in the main house and one in the guest house. Only one bathroom in the main house has a shower so it can make for a line with a large family. The bathroom in the master bedroom has a large spa tub but it would be more functional with a shower. The neighborhood is quiet and nice for walking and viewing wildlife. The house was clean and well stocked for our visit. Cheryl was very kind to work with and we would recommend this house to families both large and small.

Owner response: Thanks so much. A pleasure to accommodate this family.

We thoroughly enjoyed Snowed Inn Estes for the couple of days we spent there. It was so comfortable and everything we needed was right there. All we needed to do was unpack our bags. It was soooo much better than staying at a hotel. There were elk and deer nearby for our viewing pleasure. We would definitely stay there again.

Last year we stayed somewhere that the pictures online and what we actually got were completely different, we were so dissapointed. This year, we got exactly what the pictures showed, a beautiful, clean, comfortable home. Thank you Cheryl for everything! You helped make our vacation by providing a wonderful home with everything we needed. It was a pleasure to cook in the kitchen, the bed was comfortable, and having my morning coffee sitting in the rocking chair made my mornings. We loved that the home was close enough to the Estes downtown and easy to get to, but we felt like it was out of the way enough and allowed us to have some privacy. The view is amazing. We have several friends and family that visit Estes yearly and have already been letting them know that this is where they should stay. We plan to be back next year, if not sooner. Thank you again Cheryl!

This house was not clean. We had to clean lip prints from the glasses, found dried cereal in a bowl. Had to wash every dish BEFORE it could be used. One bowl lavatory was out of order; not repaired during our 9 day stay. The bowl lavatory in the second bathroom leaked under the vanity. The floor was dusty; all the artifical plant arragements were covered with dust. Light bulbs burned out. We had to clean bathroom mirrors before we could use the bathrooms. Positives: great porch for enjoying coffee and dessert in the evening and reading. We do not recommend this house and, obviously, we will not stay in this house again. Owners were pleasant people.

Owner response: The house had been cleaned and dusted prior to the guest arrival. The space next to the refrigerator was not cleaned during the period of time that was available during the check out of the previous guest and their check in as it was back to back. The previous guest had done the dishes and put them back in the cupboards, so I did not see a dirty glass or cereal bowl during cleaning. Parts had to be ordered for the bowl lavatory as they are vessel sinks. The complaints were addressed directly to the guest in a prompt and pleasant manner. Every effort was made during the guest stay to accommodate their needs. Guests were offered a large discount for another stay and declined the opportunity to stay in my home at another time.

This mountain home was everything we had hoped for and more. The bedrooms were all large, the kitchen was first rate and we wanted for nothing as the owners have added so many amenities here and throughout the house that you ordinarily don't find in most rentals. We made good use of the large and comfortable front porch and reminisced for hours. Our family of 12 fit comfortably in the cabin and guest house. The owners are very friendly and easy to work with. We had a family picture taken in the back against the boulders to celebrate our anniversary and family reunion. This is a great home to rent for large groups.

My family and I rented both the main house and the guest house. We loved them both! The owners have created a genuine mountain feel in this place- it did these Texans a world of good! Each room is tastefully appointed and comfortable! The gourmet kitchen is large and easy to use, with all things necessary to create a full meal. The rock fireplace was an unexpected thrill for us, as the nights actually got cold enough for us to use it. There is plenty of seating, and comfortable seating too! It's proximity to Estes Park and to Rocky Mountain National Park made it a perfect destination for all of us, grandparents, parents and teens alike. The wifi was a big plus for the teens! Great for Families!

My family, as well as 3 other families, rented this clean and comfortable home and guest house for 3 nights this summer. It was just perfect! The decor was great--and amentities (DVD player, DVDs, games, deck/patio, etc) made us feel right at home with our 3 little boys in tow! We felt like it was a great home for kids (no stairs inside the home), but would also work very well for couples of all ages. Cheryl, the owner, was very professional and organized. We would all love to come back and stay at Snowed Inn Estes again. Just what we were looking for.

And we always enjoy God's creation in Estes Park. If we come back to Estes, we'll most likely come back to Snowed Inn! Thanks again, Cheryl.

My co-workers and I went to Snowed Inn for a work retreat fall of 2003. We found the cottage very comfortable and spacious. The rooms were all decorated in mountain and animal themes complete with white lights and a fireplace. We worked hard but the accomodations helped us relax and cooking meals for the group was a breeze in the large kitchen. Its a great place to stay for family's, couples, or a work group!
