This is a gorgeous two story, four bedroom, three bath, luxuriously furnished beachfront home. Where the elegance of fine living meets the serenity of seaside living. Twelve foot pickled cedar ceilings, light maple hardwoods throughout, granite counter tops, Wolf Professional gas range, Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer and additional ice maker for filling coolers and entertaining. The top grade appliances and finishes are softened by the open floor plan and the supple color palette of whites, creams, and pastel blues. This home was featured in the local Water's Edge Magazine of its seamless and unique interior design. Some of the detailed highlights were the Great Room's fireplace, the Dining Room's grand table, the Upstairs Hall Bath's pebbled floor, and the Master Suite's jetted tub and spa shower with steam room.
The main entrance to the home is through the Great Room. This space is perfect for entertaining with the open living, dining, and kitchen areas all opening onto the Upper Patio. Beach living is all about the outdoor living areas.
The Upper Patio provides beautiful views of the ocean with privacy from the view of beach goers. For entertaining there is a double rack outdoor gas grill, bar seating for two to three, a pub style table for four, and two lounge chairs. Below this level is the Lower Patio. The ocean side of this level has a Private Hot Tub designed for six with three jet settings, temperature control, fountain, and light, the first of two private hot/cold outdoor showers, one of two lounging hammocks, and storage of beach equipment. Around the other side of the Lower Patio is a pool table with over head light for night play, another lounging hammock, patio table for four, and kayak storage. The second private outdoor hot/cold shower is located just off of the front entry walkway.
Back inside the home, completing the first floor is a half bath and the laundry room; in addition to the Family Room. This room has a large flat screen high-definition television, DVD library, seating for at least eight, and game collection. Little light gets into this room when the blinds are closed, ideal for curling up at anytime with a comfy blanket and a movie.
Upstairs are four bedrooms, two baths, and a bunk area. Each room is named for an exotic beach locale and is decorated to reflect the style of that location. The Master Suite in this home, the Moorea Room, is a lavish space. The striking four poster California king bed with crisp white linens is crowned by rout iron and tan linen fabric. A seating area for morning coffee overlooks the Atlantic Ocean where dolphins and whales swimming passed are usual morning occurrences. A balcony off of the suite has seating for two and the views extend for miles up and down the beach. The ocean view from the bathroom in this suite is just as impressive. Tumbled marble floors, granite counter tops, built in closets, and glass enclosed steam room with jetted tub and spa shower make this bath one to die for.
The Gaines Family ensures that your stay is comfortable by providing linens, paper products, basic body products, cleaning products, and a communal food pantry. Why the Owner Chose Jacksonville Beach
Along Jacksonville Beach there are long stretches of sandy shore lines, great local restaurants, and ecletic shops. The Pier offers fishing, the Seawalk Pavillion plays host to special events, and Huguenot Park is a clean and friendly place for the kids. This location had everything we were looking for and more- we love Jax Beach!

We are the Gaines Family! Sharon, Dale, and our teen triplets Kate, Dale II, and Callie! Our family moved to Jacksonville from California in 1997 and we fell in love with Jacksonville Beach. We bought the Ocean Drive house shortly after our move to Jax and completely remodeled it in 2004. We were sure to include our personal touches here and there. For example, the fireplace shows off a beautiful collection of shells we gathered and each of our children placed a special shell during the creation of the fireplace. Our beach front home is our little piece of heaven, so we named it Beach Haven. We hope you will come and visit!
