We loved this condo. My family was so impressed when we first entered the condo. My fiancée’s exact words were "wow, you did good honey!" She had never been to Sanibel and the view from our condo was probably the best out of any of the condos in the complex. The condo was decorated beautifully and was very clean. Everything we needed was right there. I fished a few mornings right on the beach in front of the condo's just casting a jig and rubber shad/minnow and caught ladyfish, seatrout and Spanish mackerel. My daughter and I saw a giant black shark about 15 feet long and a smaller 6 footer swimming by while we casted our lines in knee deep water in front of the condo. The shelling was great as always and I can't wait to come back. My wife and I were married right on the condo grounds by the pool. Our bed was huge and so comfortable. Everything was fantastic. I can't wait to come back. Gordon was so quick when I had any questions and was so professional and polite. He made me feel very comfortable about everything going way beyond just renting a condo. Thank you so much Mr. and Mrs. Wells! The Jacksons will be back!

Thank you for a wonderful week in Sanibel. Your condo was perfect for our family of 5. It was exactly as described and in fantastic condition. We really enjoyed playing on the beach ,swimming in the pool, and then coming "home" to enjoy a peaceful evening of playing one of the many board games or reading a good book. Our six year old daughter truly enjoyed the many children's books about ocean life. Many evenings we just stayed in and cook a delicious meal on the grill or in the well equipped kitchen. This condo was the perfect place for a mother/daughter vacation. We loved having the two separate bedrooms and baths and sitting on the patio in the morning with our breakfast. We had perfect weather - low 80's and sunny every day. Enjoyed the pool every day and then shopping later in the day and dinner out. The condo is equipped with everything you can possibly need and is very clean and well furnished. The pictures on the website are exactly what you will see when you arrive. Gordon was very accomodating with all of the arrangements. I would recommend this condo to anyone who is looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to relax.

This condo at Pointe Santos was excellent! The view of the beach from the lanai was even better than expected! The condo was very clean and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the use of the bikes to explore the island. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay on Sanibel Island! Thanks for everything. It was a great pleasure to enjoy the comforts of the Wells condo! In spite of being there during the record low FL temps in Jan.2010, it was cozy and bright indoors and we could look out on the palm trees, pond, heated swimming pool and the Gulf. The shelling is special along this coast - warm or cool. Games, bikes, and beach stuff are provided for guests in the Wells condo. And it's not far from the Ding Darling nature preserve - accessible by car, on foot, by kayak or canoe - very interesting any time of year. Although it's on the 3rd floor, the elevator and stairs are just footsteps from the door, and the higher view is lovely. Prepare to enjoy!

We just returned from an absolutely wonderful family vacation at Pointe Santo B31, in Sanibel Island. The booking process was very simple. We initially found the unit via Vacationrentals, and then spoke directly with Gordon Wells on the phone. He answered all of our questions and concerns, and the rental process itself was very straightforward through Waterstone. The condo itself is a beautiful 3rd floor unit, with views of the pool and pond area in the center of the complex, as well as of the Gulf. The screened in lanai has a ceiling fan and is perfect for outdoor meals. Plus, it was always nice to sit out there and have a couple of drinks in the evening, while just listening to the waves. It is spacious, fully furnished, and stocked with everything you would need for a vacation ,or to even live there!. The Wells family even have a storage unit full of any type of beach amenities one would desire, such as chairs, umbrellas, noodles, pails, shovels, toys, fishing rods, etc. We made good use of the pails for our shelling, and our 1 year old loved the toy trucks! All you have to do is bring yourself, and your clothes. There are 2 main grocery stores on the island, Bailey's and Jerry's. They are both fairly close, and we shopped at both, but we definitely preferred Jerry's. They had a much wider selection of brands as well as more items to choose from. The prices are slightly more expensive than you may find at mainland grocery stores, but not alarmingly so. Another very big plus of this condo, is that it is an end unit in the building. As such, the guest bedroom window does not face the outside walkway, as all other non-end units do. Rather it has a garden view. As such, you don't have to worry about people walking just outside your window....a big benefit if you have children staying in the guest room. Overall, it was a wonderful and relaxing stay. The Pointe Santo complex is beautiful, well maintained, and in a prime location. We also made good use of their pool. We would highly recommend the Wells' condo B31, and also want to say Thank You again to Gordon and Mary Katherine for helping us make the most of our first vacation in 4 years! R.P.

Gordon, Sue and I just returned from your unit at Pointe DeSanto on Sanibel and it was one of our favorite and most relaxing vacations ever! The location was superb, the complex and grounds outstanding, the unit itself was excellent and the island perfectly suited our needs and desires. We wanted to thank you and MK for making our vacation a very special one! We especially loved having the bikes at our disposal and every gadget for the kitchen and the beach readily available! Stay Period 05/16/09 - 05/23/09 The Condo was perfect for a family vacation, well furnished and up to date including WiFi internet. Condo and complex were very well maintained with many amenities. Condo had it own parking space. Booking process was efficient and easy via Resortquest. The Wells provided beach toys, beach chairs and use of two adult bikes which saved rental fees. The island is beautiful with great beaches. One half of the island is a nature reserve which offers outstanding bird watching, as well as kayak and canoe rentals. The island is best seen via bicycle as it has 22 miles of bike paths or just do nothing and walk the beach picking up shells. This was my second vacation using VRBO and this was another great experience. Thank you Wells!

Thank you to the Wells family. We had a wonderful week at your condo. It was very well-appointed and comfortable. We really appreciate how accomodating you were since most all rentals on the Island are either Friday to Friday or Saturday to Saturday. Having arrived on a Friday allowed for more fun than travel time. Hope to see you next summer.

We have stayed in a number of vacation condos, and several on Sanibel Island. This one is by far the best. Not only is it updated, spotless and comfortable, the decor is extremely tasteful--more like a home than a rental. The owners do an excellent job of maintaining the place and keep it well-stocked with little, vacation-friendly items. There's even a small kids' cupboard with books, toys and games. The location is such that you have the benefit of both the beautiful pond and ocean views. We love it!

Thanks for a wonderful week at your condo! It was so beautifully decorated and comfortable with a great view. Everything we needed was there. We watched dolphins and birds, explored the tide pools, collected way too many shells, swam in the warm gulf, and rode bikes to shop or enjoy the island. Thanks again for a relaxing, memorable vacation.

January 3, 2004 - What a nice two weeks we had! The weather was great! We enjoyed your condo so much and the view from the terrace was breath taking. We can't wait to come back. What a lovely way to spend Christmas and New Years.
