After vacationing in Colorado over 40 times , I found the perfect place for a relaxing visit . It is just far enough away , but close enough , to several scenic places . Great day trips in any direction , fabulous hiking , but some days there is no need , but to sit on the deck , or fish and take in the river . I had the best luck fishing with a "Little Tasmanian Devil" lure . This is definitely the best VRBO listing that I have stayed in , in CO .

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We wanted a private, relaxing getaway and this was indeed the perfect place to unwind. The outdoor hot tub was fantastic. The accomodations were exactly as described and the scenery and views were breathtaking. Being so close to the river was incredible. I would highly recommend for a romantic getaway/retreat. This was definitley one of my favorite vacations, and can't wait to visit here again! Thank you!

We have had a wonderful time in this beautiful cabin on the river. We went fishing both days and caught lots of fish in lakes and on the river. The Mexican restaurant in town is the best I have had in years. My dad, cousin, and brother have also had a great time. Thank you so much! The Snowdo--

Immaculate cabin; very secluded; right on the river with a fantastic view. Definitely small, as advertised, but would be great for a couple and/or couple with one or two kids. Owners were very easy to work with. Would definitely go back.

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful place-love the seclusion! We fished in the river and at Clear Creek Reervoir. We enjoyed fresh trout for supper. Went to Agnew Falls and St. Elmo. Four wheeled east of Granite, above Winfield at 4 Mile Creek. Wonderful time! hat to go back to the heat in Kansas. Thanks again, The Albe---

Thank you for opening up your beautiful vacation home to us. The weather was awesome and the scenery was absolutely gorgeous! The cabin was very tastefully decorated, we loved relaxing on the deck, catching fresh trout out of the river below and sitting in the jacuzzi on cool evenings. Buena Vista is a cute little town and you can do as much or as little as you like. We wanted to have a little fun on the river so did a half day guided ducky (inflatable kayak) trip with Buffalo Joes that was a lot of fun. My best vacation yet! Thanks again! :) Oh...The only negative was not having instructions/manual for the cappuchino maker. That was one thing I was excited about using and we were not able to. I understand it's an expensive machine so maybe make it a "you break it you pay for it" thing"!

A perfect stay for two

The cabin was beyond our expectations! It was very cozy and had a homey feel to it. We really appreciated the views of the Arkansas River and the rushing of the rapids as we slept at night. The property is hidden from the main road and is very private. We felt very secluded and truely enjoyed every minute of it. It is definately a perfect get away for all couples!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cabin. Jeff and Debbie were very helpful. We really enjoyed the goodie basket they left for us. The hot tub on the river was a perfect touch! We especially loved how quiet, private, and beautiful the surroundings were. We will be back next year!!!

Amazing Honeymoon Stay

Our honeymoon stay in the cabin was PERFECT. We had amazing weather and caught trout in the river. The property is very private and quiet. The cabin is very cozy and there is so much to see in the area. We had an amazing honeymoon stay and would highly recommend this cabin!!!

Your property is beautiful, and the access to the forest was an incredible benefit. We and the dogs thoroughly enjoyed the hiking. And the hot tub was a nice end to the day.

We stayed in the cabin 4 nights and loved every minute of it. It was more than we expected. It was so tastefully decorated and furnished and so homey, as well as being stocked more than we expected. Your cabin was everything you said it would be and more! I can't think of a better location in BV - being right on the river and sitting on your heavenly deck enjoying the views (and the rafters) was fantastic. The inside of the cabin was luxurious and very comfortable - we had everything we needed. If this is available next summer, we will be back to rent it again!

We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here- an incredibly well stocked cabin in an great location. We saw no-one else on the river as we fished the private stretch, sat in the hot tub, and enjoyed our morning cappucinos. Though the cabin is small, it is full of gourmet and luxurious touches. Thanks to the gracious hosts for a perfect weekend getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your beautiful cabin. The property is wonderful and we felt like you took great care of us even though you were in a different state! We have rented many different houses throughout Colorado and Europe, this kitchen was one of the best equipped we have seen. We always bring our own knives, spices, etc but in this case we wouldn’t have needed to, it was a little tight but a pleasure and also had a great view of the river. Unfortunately our daughter caught a cold and we didn’t get out as much as we would have liked so the satellite television and DVD player turned out to be a lifesaver, thanks again, John Prestwich

The cabin was very private with great views of the surrounding 14ers. Great access to the river for those who enjoy fly fishing or just being close to the water. A nice relaxing cabin. --Andy
