We invite you to come stay at our beautiful lake resort condo! If you love the water - this is the place to be. Not too crowded and handicapped accessible.
Unfortunately due to low rain levels - the cove view from this unit has become more of a beach view - but the amenities are still some of the nicest you will find at any resort and Brizo's burgers are fabulous!
Plan your next getaway on an Island Paradise. Come to the Island on Lake Travis. The Island on Lake Travis Resort offers two Lake Front Swimming Pools/Hot Tubs, two Tennis Courts, Boat Ramp (closed due to Lake Levels), Optional Boat Slips, and Covered Parking. In December of 2008 the new amenities center opened which includes an indoor pool, indoor hot tub, his & her saunas with dressing areas, Lakefront workout facility, and Brizo's Restaurant & Bar is open Thursday - Saturday 4pm -1am weekends.
Villa 3208 has 2 bedrooms/2 baths with over 1100 SF. Both Bedrooms have king sized beds and Flat Screen TVs. The living area has a queen sized sofa sleeper & 42" Flat Screen TV. The kitchen is fully equiped and the unit has a full size washer/dryer.
Other near-by amenities include golf, boating, fishing and shopping. Take a short drive through the hill country or visit Austin, Texas and see what the Capitol city has to offer. ... The surrounding area offers two golf courses, many restaurants, a grocery store, and "The Pier"(a floating restaurant/bar with live music on many weekends), is just a short drive away.
There may be a higher price for Holiday weekends - like Labor Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July.

The resort is so well kept up, the pools are clean, spa is wonderful and has the nicest indoor pool and workout area I've ever seen!

My family rented this condo the first week of August 2011. The condo was clean and had all the amenities we needed plus some extra little perks. The DVD player with movies was a plus for our little one. We had 7 people in our group and had more than enough room for everyone. The living room was large enough to make out the sleeper sofa and still have room left for a queen size blow-up mattress. From our balcony, we did not have a water view due to the drought but this didn't phase us one bit. Every night my kids stood on the balcony and fed the deer. This was better for us than having a lake view. The deer were so tame that they would take food straight from the kids mouths! I'm not sure what they enjoyed more, swimming everyday or feeding the deer. Everything was as described. I would recommend this condo to anyone who is interested in a nice, relaxing home. For outside activities, I highly recommend checking out the Oasis Restaurant. Well worth the drive. We also rented a boat from a gentleman we found on Craigslist for a fraction of the price you pay at the rental companies. He made the kids day with his nice boat and fun tubes. You can't beat $250 for 7 hours on the lake! The only thing we would probably skip next time is Granite Beach Water park in Marble Falls. An hours drive, very expensive and not as much to do. Otherwise, this was a great family vacation!!!

My wife, step-daughter and I stayed at the unit the weekend of April 8 - 10th and had a wonderful visit. The unit was clean, beds were comfy and it was very quiet and peaceful. It was actually quite private as well. Something I haven't found in other condo rentals. Brizos, the restaurant and bar, is quite friendly and the food is good. You have a great view of the sunset from the patio outside. They had karoake on Friday and seemed like a good crowd but we went back to the condo with the little tyke. The lake was a little low and we expect that to be remedied next time. ;-) The Island has 3 pools! Two outdoor and one indoor. It was nice to have the option of the indoor pool because the outdoor pools were still a little cold. Would be great in the summer though. Overall we had a fantastic visit. A couple of things to think about before you come out. The restaurant is only open Friday and Saturday evening. Be sure to bring food for lunches and snacks. Nearest convenience store is about 10 minutes away. Also, be very careful if you're using a GPS. My Garmin took me all the way out to the Galleria in Lakeway. On the other side of Lake Travis. Thanks so much to the owners for telling me where I was and how to get to The Island. (Make sure your GPS has your destination in Lago Vista, not Lakeway.) Things to do while you're here.... Boat, Fish, Swim or head deeper into the Hill Country. Marble Falls is 30 minutes away. Burnet and Johnson City are 40 minutes and an hour respectively. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in the Hill Country. Thanks much for having us.

We were amazed at the amenities. - the indoor pool and spa were the nicest I have ever seen. We came in November and it was paradise. We rented a boat and the weather was perfect. Lago Vista still has that small town Texas charm and friendliness. The condo was spotless and nicely furnished - we will definitely be coming back!

We loved it! Not far from home yet while we were there felt thousands of miles away. The views were beautiful and the condo was great!!! We will definately be returning.
