I can't say enough great things about this rental property!! The house itself doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you walk in, it will knock your socks off.... and the pictures don't quite do it justice. Open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, big rooms, comfortable beds, lots of space, exceptionally clean, very well appointed for making meals at home & the extra ammenities for the beach. Coconut & papaya trees on the property with lots of fruit - double bonus!! Truely a 5 min walk to the tide pools & 5 min drive to the hot pond (Ahalanui) or Champagne Pond. This is the perfect start and end to any adventure on the East side. The house always had a lovely breeze, lots of windows, fans, and sliding glass doors. The stars were amazing!! The sound of the tree frogs and ocean was the perfect "white noise" to fall asleep to. Easy drive to Hilo & Waimea. The Sunday farmers market in Pahoa is not to be missed!! Mark & Ron (our hosts) sent so much good info to us (well in advance of our trip) we felt as if we knew the area before we stepped foot on it!! This house is truely fantastic. Mahalo Mark & Ron!!! We will definitely be back soon!!
