Destin Daydreamer Cottage is a step ahead... This private, Destin, 1600 sq ft home is a short 1 and 1/2 block walk from the beach, with a private,outdoor, enclosed hot tub, seating seven. A sun tanning bed on site and a community pool three houses away is heated March/April. Previously set up as the owner's private residence, the property is full of many upscale amenities and is new to the rental program in 2009. The owner's are local, taking pride in ownership and available should any questions or problems arise. The house even has a full house electrical generator should a power outage occur (rare here). One step gets you from the walk and driveway level into the home with a ramp available for those with mobility issues. A public pavilion with handicap ramp access to the beach, showers and bathrooms has been completed at your beach access point in 2009.
The home is perfect for two couples or a family. This home is set up with a with a huge master bedroom with indoor jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The house features a second bedroom which features a king size bed, and a third bedroom with two sets of twin bunks. If you really need some space, a pull out queen in the living room sleep two more. This neighborhood is limited in access with only one way in and out by auto, limiting traffic. Quiet enough for couples and close enough to Destin's finest restaurants, shopping, grocery stores and amenities. A ten minute walk gets you to all of life's necessities and pleasures-(well not quite all...)

Our family had a wonderful time stay in this beautiful home. We really enjoy the hot tub. The walk wasnt that far from the beach. I will choose this one next Time.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our vacation was made complete with our stay at this beautiful home. Everything you needed was supplied. All we had to do it unpack and play. I could have not asked for a better time. My only regret is I did not get to meet the owner to thank them personally. I would highly recommend this location. Close to everything and felt just like home. Strike that Better than home. Hated to leave. Thanks so much for your hospitality .Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

We had an enchanting weeklong stay at this roomy but comfortable cottage. We walked the beach, rode bikes through the neighborhood, and enjoyed coffee on the front porch. We can't say enough good things about this rental property; it had everything you may need and you'll be happy you rent it.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities.

We just had to come backto Clipper Cove again this year. It's one of the very best places around to stay. It's so close to everything, yet private and quiet, even during the noisy spring break! While all the pictures do it justice, you just can't capture the perfection by pictures alone. We just love it! You will too.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities.

This home is a wonderful place to spend a vacation, a short walk to the beach, in a charming neighborhood. The house is big and roomy, and has all the desired amenities. It has a big kitchen for cooking and entertaining. We just had a blast here in Destin. I would love to come back and visit. This house is wonderful! It's very homey, private and comfortable. The kitchen is amazing and has anything you could ever need. The porch and hot tub are secluded giving you the feeling the neighbors are much further away than they are. The walk to the pool and beach are very short and manageable, even with kids and everything but the kitchen sink in tow. I highly recommend a visit to Clipper Cove!Did you find this review helpful? This cottage is so much larger than it looks from the outside. We have really enjoyed staying here; it's clean, well equipped and just a short walk to the beach and some really nice eating places. We especially love the quiet. We call the Master Bedroom the "Throne Room" because you really feel like royalty in this spacious, well appointed room with a beautiful garden tub modern bathroom. We have stayed in this house several times over the past few years and have enjoyed every minute! The location is great to the beach, stores and shopping. It's in a quiet neighborhood so you'll enjoy coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night on the patio. You can't go wrong staying here. Go for it!
