This is a fantastic rental property. Our group of five only had words of praise for the entire experience of renting this location. The administrator used by the owner to handle the rental could not have been more helpful: the contract was clear; she promptly answered all my questions; she was concerned before and during the rental week that everything go well. The property looks exactly as pictured, but the view and layout is even better than pictured. One special thing: the layout of the house is great and affords everyone a lot of privacy. The location is superb: great views and privacy, but also close to stores, and within 10 minutes drive to town. We loved the restaurant Eat in Cane Bay, but honestly, the house was so wonderful, we cooked fresh fish and food each night on the grill, eating outside. The housekeeper, who came twice during the week, was lovely. St. Croix is a terrific island: beautiful, peaceful, many great beaches. This is not the place for wild nightlife though, which we did not want. This is a place for great scuba-diving, swimming and snorkeling, reading by the pool or beach, beautiful breezes in the palm trees. Our whole group loved the island and this property. It was a dream vacation and we thank Susan and the owners.

Just got back from our wonderful trip in St. Croix. The house La Bella Vista was perfect for the 6 of us (3 couple) the location was good and the view of salt river great. This was our 4 trip to STX 2nd time we stayed in Judth Fancy the others at Shoy beach area, but this house was just right , bedrooms set up nice ,pool was a little small but worked great for a quick cool off big kitchen dinning area extra bathroom in main house very nice...would stay again hope soon

This house is exactly like the pictures. Just as elegant, comfortable and beautiful as it looks. The view is incredible, maybe better than you could imagine. The furnishings we're so nice, it makes me want to go out and update my house! Booking and making arrangements before and after arrival was very easy. One warning, we came prepared with an AT&T cell phone, which works on island, but we had no service at all at the house. The wireless internet was very fast and almost made up for the lack of phone connection. Oh, I must mention that the house was nicely equipped with alot of amenities that you would normally pick up yourself, but it was good to have extra soap, shampoo, etc. We also enjoyed the 'welcome gift' of Mango rum, chocolate, local hot sauce and plenty of brochures for things to see and do. Make sure to look for the book "Life in the Left Lane" which, on a recommendation, we went out and bought, then later found it in the display of brochures and island magazines. This is a beautiful rental and I don't think you will be disappointed in choosing to stay here a week or more! If you have a larger group than you think you can fit, ask about renting the cottage on the lower part of the property where I think you can sleep two to four more guests. Lastly, the driveway is very, very steep going down to the house, but we never had a problem other than a little nervousness looking down. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!P.S. Check out Gecko's Island Adventure Tours for a fantastic ATV tour of hills above Frederiksted and rain forest, and even better, add the jet ski portion for a complete day at the beach!

This was by far the best place we have stayed at in St Croix--our 15th time on island! We enjoyed the casual eleganace of the villa and the fully equipped gourmet kitchen. It was perfect for preparing meals which we enjoyed on the veranda along with panoramic views of the ocean. The central location made it convenient for exploring all of our favorite beaches and restaurants. This villa is located in a private, quiet and safe neighborhood in which I enjoyed my daily jog. Book this villa and you will not be disappointed!
