  The location of our condo was incredible and you can’t beat the sunset views from any of the Gulf-front rooms. Emerald Coast Destinations did a great job in finding and setting up this condo for us. Boardwalk is a family oriented resort which is conveniently located within the walking distance to restaurants. Our kitchen was fully stocked and lovely. The bunk bed area was cute, and unlike other units, was NOT shut down by the teeny tiny doors. It did NOT look like a kitchen closet. Also, we loved the fact that there was a shower and a tub in the bathroom. Very nice

  Winter getaway was a blast! We rented this condo during October. Mainly, we were looking for a place that would feel like home. My husband and I are very active people who love spending time outdoors and returning to a quiet, cosy, beautiful place to rest. Our condo was the definitely THE place to be. We loved the location of it and how many things it had to offer. Our unit, in particular, with furnished with taste and well-maintained, kudos to the owner, whoever it is. The master bathroom had is nice and a large walk-in closet, how awesome is that? High-speed Internet, washer and dryer, large flat-screen TV, etc. And most importantly, amazing rates! We love vacationing on budget but we don't like unpleasant experience. Well, let me tell you: we only had positive impression this time!

  This email was received from our guests: Thank you Bob for allowing us to stay in your condo for our High School Graduation trip it was spectacular. We had a very difficult time finding anyone that would allow us to rent since we were under 25 but you treated us with respect like young adults unlike how most of the other people we called or emailed who would not even consider renting to us. We were so glad to get our full security deposit refunded without any deductions. We tried to keep the place neat and clean so that maybe we could come back for our College Spring Break in 2013. My response was: You are very welcome we always try to accommodate all guests without discriminating due to age or any other reason. Having been in the vacation rental business since 1997 I have had very good experiences renting to young adults. Treating you like I would have wanted to be treated when I was your age is what I find works the best. You are more than welcome to come back at Spring Break but book early cause this condo sells out very fast for Spring Break.

  We stayed in a 4 bedroom condo in ocean reef this year. it was amazing. plenty of room for 10 ppl. the pull out couch was even comfortable. close to everything and right on the beach. Neat decorated room, very clean. we had 2 parking spots and also a luggage rack, which were both very helpful. the elevators were fast and never a long wait. security guards were friendly and great at their job. the beach was never crowed and we did not have any problems with the water. plenty of towels, dishes, cookware, etc. can't wait to stay their again! best vacation ever.

  We've been to PCB many times in the past but this was the first time we stayed at the Ocean Reef.....and we loved it. The building wasn't huge, but still had all of the amenities that we were looking for......indoor & outdoor pool, huge hot tub on the beach, sauna, work out room grilling etc But the most important thing was the fact that we were beach front and our condo was beautiful, very clean and in close to everything we wanted to do (really enjoyed going to Pier Park, a lot to do there) and the views were great. Unit is well kept, comfy mattresses and in living room, there is something that makes you feel like you are on vacation which you really need when you are traveling. Very pleased with Emerald Coast Destinations rental company that made our stay so wonderful. Thank you.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

As you mentioned, Ocean Reef is a smaller resort but we like to think that is a very positve feature since there are four very fast elevators and you don't have to wait in line to get on one of them to get up and down the building like you do in the larger resorts in Panama City Beach. BTW: You didn't mention it here but in your email to me you said you were surprised that the parking was so easy in the garage that is under the building instead of across the street and that you really liked the assigned parking spot for the condo. We think that is a great feature always knowing there is a designated spot where you can park your car conveniently located right under the building. Of course there are also some unassigned spots in the garage and the overflow surface parking lot across the street that you said you used for your motorcycle trailer. Please come back again it was my pleasure to have you as our guests!

  The overall experience I had at the Ocean Reef resort in this condo was very good. I gave it a 5 star because it was everything the owner told me it would be. He explained it needed a new couch, and I was arriving before the new one arrived so I knew it was in need of repair. The condo could use a little updating, but the rooms were decorated nicely, it was clean and just as Bob had stated it would be. He was great to work with. There was a horrible rating and review that was on the VRBO website, and Bob explained to me that it was totally fabricated, and it totally was!!!! It was clean, tidy and very spacious, with an awesome view. It is a little outdated (older carpet, paint has been noticably retouched) But it was priced right and clean and thats all that mattered to me!!!! Thanks again, Bob for my wonderful stay in your condo.

  I booked this wonderful 4 BR condo with a small down payment in Feb. This condo was just perfect to share with my sister's family and split the cost. 6 families planned this trip for 5 months and we were all so excited to vacation together! Then I was called to serve for Jury Duty and thought we could not go, so my sister booked a smaller condo and paid for it. I assumed our reservation with Bob was canceled since we did not have the money to pay the balance on the due date. Instead when Bob called me about the payment and I told him the story to my surprise Bob worked out a payment arrangement where we were able to pay the ENTIRE BALANCE DUE IN 3 PAYMENTS AFTER WE CHECKED OUT. I could not believe he would be so nice to do that, but he did! Thanks to Bob’s trust in us, we were able to be on vacation with our family and friends and didn’t make our first payment until 2 days after we checked out! I want everyone to know that this condo was wonderful. We had extra room so our friends could visit us and everyone loved our condo. The condo itself was perfect absolutely no complaints about anything. It was well stocked and clean. We had a great view from the 2 sided balcony straight out and down the beach towards Pier Park. The large comfortable recliner in the living room was great to kick back and relax. The indoor & outdoor pools and Hot Tub were really nice. The two rental beach chairs that Bob gave us to use at no charge were a wonderful addition to our vacation. Thank You Bob- you made my family so happy! We will recommend you and can’t say enough about how nice you were to do this for us.

  Owner response: Thanks Steve for those very nice comments! It was my pleasure to work out a payment arrangement where you were able to pay the total amount due after you had checked out. Your situation was very unusual and this ended up being a very creative and out of the ordinary solution, but everything worked out just fine. Sometimes in our busy lives things do not go exactly as planned and obviously yours was difficult with the Jury Duty call and not really knowing if you could even go or not, yet alone afford to pay for all of it by yourself. But, after we talked and you were so concerned about your family not being able to go on vacation at the same time and in the same area as your sister's family I was confident that trusting you to pay as we agreed was the right thing to do. In addition, I really apprecaite how you were sincerely concerned for us and the potential that we would not be able to re-book your week at such a late date. You said you were coming back in 2013 and we are looking forward to doing business with you again next summer. We want all of our future customers to know that if they get into a bind we will try to be as flexible as possible to accommodate their situation and will continue to try very hard to work things out in a manner that works for both them and for us.

  This was the worst condo I have ever rented. It was FILTHY! Spent a whole day cleaning it to make it decent enough for a child to be in. Indoor pool was not heated as advertised. Sauna room didn't work. There was no excuse for some nasty things we found in this condo. All the dirt and trash had been swept under beds and couches. Mold was growing on all air vent. We cleaned every vent in the condo as well as the ceiling fans. Kitchen was very poorly stocked for cooking. Kitchen lacked basic equipment likes measuring spoons, cups, and other items. Had to buy a decent skillet just to cooks eggs for breakfast. Furniture was broken and falling apart in the living room. Rocking chair did get replaced but the couch was literally falling apart. One bedspread smelled like vomit. Even the balcony and table on the balcony were nasty. The person responsible for this condo was not appreciative all the work we did. Bob...treat others as you like to be treated and keep your place clean as if you mother or grandmother was going to rent it!

  We rented this condo for a week starting Sept. 24, 2011. The property was everything it said it was. We have been coming to PCB for 30 yrs now so we know where to go and what to do. The condo was well-maintained and my posse of guys loved the flat screens TVs in every bedroom. It was the perfect fit for our family of 8. We had family with us from age 1 to age 74. My parents are in there 70’s they had no problem getting around the complex or the Condo.We loved the BIG dining table & chairs in the condo; the chairs are easy for old people to get up and out of easy. My father loved the Hot Tub. The complex had no resort supplied luggage carts but the nice guys in security let us borrow their Wal-Mart shopping cart and Bob has supplied nice carts for both of his condos. They had taken out the grills by the pool for maintenance –disappointment but good to know that they were taking care of them. What could be bad at the beach for a week? The most special amenties of all was we were able to bring our special furry family member. We always look for a pet friendly condo. We really appreciate people like you Bob that are honest and hard working. Everything was really good. No major problems at all and no one ever bothered us. We will be booking again with you soon.
