The property consists of 2 houses set on 14000 sq m of landscaped garden. The main house boasts a big triple living room, 3 great ensuite bedrooms, and 2 more bedrooms on the top floor. The second house sleeps 6 people in 3 rooms set around a big living rooms and a fantastic terrace overlooking the swimming pool.
Le Clos is a beautiful property accommodating up to 18 adults, with all the best facilities. It is located right between Nice, St. Tropez and Marseille. The Clos is for those looking for a property with a soul rather than all the latest gadgets. The garden is an invitation to have a rest in the Olive trees shade, while the 2 houses boast a typical Provence character. The large swimming pool (16x8m!!!), the 2 tennis courts, the volleyball/badmington court and the garden are there for the sports and sunbathing addicts. Activities and day trips will keep the explorers busy, and the gastronomes will enjoy the local dairies, restaurants and wines.
With 8 bedrooms, there are plenty of options. We believe that given the room configuration (5 deluxe rooms and 3 standard rooms) the perfect option is to have 5 couples, each staying in the deluxe rooms, and children (and potentially nanny) sharing the 3 other rooms. The Clos is the prefect holiday destination for those looking for space, quietness, charming landscapes and sun bathing.
The Clos is located a short walk away from Callas, one of those typical Provence Villages, with everything you’d expect: street market, good shopping, strong identity, very traditional architecture, and restaurants. Callas is located 15km north east of Draguignan, a 40 000 strong city, in the Var district. The A8 highway (Le Muy exit) is just 15 km away, taking you to Nice in 1h10 and to Marseille in 1h30. For those willing to visit the Coast, St-Tropez is 50 km away, which can be anything from 45 minutes to 3 hours away, depending which time of the day you go. The nearest train station, with direct trains to Paris (4h20), is Les Arcs Draguignan, 20 km away. North of Callas are the beautiful and famous Gorges du Verdon (1h away), France’s equivalent of the Grand Canyon, a great place to hike, paddle, swim or bungee jump.
All crockery and cooking utensils are provided. We provide and install all linen and towels. The swimming pool is looked after. The house will be completely cleaned before your arrival and after your check out.
