A TRUE CARIBBEAN PARADISE
The Conch Retreat is a Conch Style 2nd floor condominium w/2 bedrooms/1 bath in the beautiful gated community of Truman Annex with lushly landscaped grounds. Location is everything! It's a short walk to Duval Street, Blue Heaven, Hemmingway House, Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square, & the best beach on the island, Fort Zachary Beach & Park. Key West is only a 2X4 island, nothing is far away. Also available is a BICYCLE BOGO (rent one get one). Bicycling is our favorite way to get around or walking. You are close to everything.
The Condo is outfitted with DSL high speed internet, Wifi, washer & dryer, towels, linens, beach towels, fully equipped kitchen that includes blender, toaster oven, range oven, microwave, refridgerator w/ice maker, coffee maker. It has secured parking, beach access and heated pool with wifi. It has 2 decks to enjoy your morning coffee or BBQ your catch of the day and sip Margarita's. The back balcony has table chairs and grill, surrounded by tropical trees.
One bedroom has a queen flat screen HDTV and the other has 2 twin beds that can also convert to king.
There are ceiling fans throughout. The bathroom has tub w/shower and hair dryer.
The main living area has flat screen HDTV and doors that open up onto the balcony. It's very clean with tropical decor. This is a great place for couples or family.
You can enjoy the pool just steps away and in front of a beautiful garden area.

We love Truman Annex! Old Town Key West Says everything. It's tropical foilage and gardens are pristine. The surroundings are relaxing and private. It's close to all the attractions and activities. The sunsets are breath taking.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The greatest benefit is the close location to the Fort Zachary Beach. The back deck surronded by tropical foilage is relaxing. It's a gated community so it's very quiet with friendly neighbors yet just steps away you can get entertainment & fine dining.

This was a wonderful place to stay! It is located close to everything and it makes you feel like you are home. When we had a small problem the owners were very quick to have it fixed. Great to rent from. Had the time of our life. I would stay here and again..and again.

The Conch Retreat is a very clean,neat, well maintained and modern property with all the amenities and comfort of home. This gated community is beautifully landscaped, quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed grilling, cocktails and coffee on the two balconies and the location could not be better. It's hard to imagine you are only two blocks away from all the dining, shopping and nightlife you can endure.Staying here was like being on an Island within and Island. The property owners Jean and Lowell are friendly and fun to work with. They want nothing more than for all their tenants to have a great vacation experience with memories that will last a lifetime and went out of their way to accommodate us.

The Key West Conch Retreat is fabulous! The condo was very clean with sufficient space for 4 people. It was within walking distance to everything. The beach passes to Ft. Zachery Beach were an added bonus with the condo, as this is the most beautiful beach on the Key. We enjoyed our stay very much and will continue to vacation at this property every year in Key West!!

Our stay was fine. Everything in the listing was available such as sheets, towels, beach towels etc. The place was comfortable. It was nice having the use of the beach pass. We had 4 people during our week and it was very tight trying to store 4 additional bikes on the front porch with the owners 2 already there. Missed having a dishwasher. I know it's vacation but we did cook a few things and had to handwash the dishes in a small space. The water in the kitchen sink took a while to get hot but nothing that wrecked our good time. The location is very close to the end of Duval where most things are happening. Since we visited in September there were a few restaurants that we wanted to visit but they were closed. This is the slow season so some places close for a few weeks. The pool area is nice. There is WI-FI in the condo. Just look at the modem/router on the table under the TV for the passkey. There is also WI-FI at the pool area.

This retreat is wonderful. It is so clean and comfortable. I really like the color of the interior. Being able to go out to the back deck to be alone or sit on the front deck to watch what is going on is great. It is easy to find. Within 3 blocks from Duvall, Mallory Square, and the beach. You couldnt ask for more. The Kemps are wonderful people. They keep up on what is going on in the community and participate in local meetings to make sure that they let their guest be aware of events taking place. If you want to know about the island ask Lowell he knows and cares so much about things that created this paridise. (Vote for Lowell for Mayor) They really cared that our vacation was fantastic and relaxed. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

The place is a great place. It is total paradise! it is close to all of the attractions of Key West. It is within walking distance of everything... the beach, the bars, the restraunts, famous attractions...everything. We cant wait to get back. It had all the amentities that one needs to make a vacation great! It is so relaxing!
