Private home:Waterfront Lake House on three acres with beautiful views morning and evening. Watch the deer, rabbits, birds, and roadrunners with your coffee during a peaceful morning outside. Or grab a book and sit on the deck with a cold drink and lounge the day away.
The Master bedroom with a king-size bed has a breathtaking view of the lake as does the master bath. It also has a door that opens onto the deck. Guest bedroom # 1 has a queen bed and guest bedroom #2 2 single (bunk beds).
Facing south, there are two covered decks( upstairs and downstairs), 12 foot wide by 47 foot long that are shaded the entire day. We have a gas grill on the upstairs deck. There is also a downstairs deck with a large picnic table just the perfect place to enjoy an ice cold watermelon.
The three concrete boat ramps are one block away at the private Point Venture Park. At the boat ramps there is plenty of parking space and rarely do you have to wait to launch your boat. You can drive or walk down to our private boat dock. At the water's edge the gentle slope continues providing an ideal swimming area in the clear clean water of Lake Travis. New large boat dock with covered slip for 30' boat and a sitting area.

Point Venture on the water

The family that owns the house are great! This coming Friday 7/16/10 will be our 3rd summer to spend a week in their house. My wife wants to buy it. I love the view of the homes across the lake day or night. I love the breeze thru the garage with both doors open smoking a cigar watching the deer in the evening while grilling the night's dinner. The girls are upstairs making the rest of the meal watching TV while I get my quiet time in the huge lower area. Our family will continue to rent their home each year until I can afford to purchase our own. Fishing off the dock for brim and small fish is fun too!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
