There are five wonderfully appointed bedrooms and baths in this 8200 square foot house, two spacious master bedroom suites and three exquisite separate bedrooms. The large, fully equipped kitchen is family friendly and gourmet qualified. The formal dining room can seat 12 lucky guests while the kitchen’s breakfast nook is inherent to the family experience itself. The vaulted living room has terrific views, a large fireplace, a sunny disposition and is always an elegant, welcoming retreat.
The 1800 square foot entertainment area on the walk-out, lower level sports both pool and foosball tables, a video arcade machine, a big screen TV and a full bar next to the experienced poker table - chips, cards and dice included.
The Tiehack ski lift is across the street, home to Buttermilk Mountain, Colorado’s friendliest, new skier experience. Two cross country ski trails are also a breath - or two - away. Spanning Maroon Creek is a pedestrian footbridge. Not only is it an impressive engineering marvel, it also takes one to the multi-million dollar Aspen Recreation Center, a truly magnificent indoor ice skating, exercise and swimming facility. All just a walk away. Also across that amazing bridge is Aspen’s favorite sledding hill. There also is the very convenient and free Aspen transportation system. A bus to the right goes to the Aspen Highland ski area, a bus to the left takes one to, and from, Aspen.
Summer time used to be Aspen’s best kept secret. But now, with the internationally famous Food and Wine Festival, The Aspen Music School and, of course, Jazz Aspen/Snowmass, Aspen is an anticipated summer destination.
