If you feel like taking on the great outdoors then there is plenty for the great adventurer to find to do. Just less then a mile is Alderbrook Golf Course, one of our grandest in the area.
Bayshore Golf is another beautiful course approximately 12 miles away and then Lake Cushman Golf is approximately 15 miles and Lake Limerick about 13 miles. Kayaking & party boat rentals are just down the hill in Union at the marina.
Next door at Alderbrook Resort you can go on a wonderful cruise of the canal on their 53 ft dinner cruiser with Captain Cindy Sund Lee Geist. Available for hourly or daily rates. Rent a ski boat with Cindy Sund.
We have famous Hood canal oysters, shrimping, salmon fishing, goeduck & crab.
Hiking is very popular in this Northwest area with so many trails and mountains. The Staircase is a very famous day hike and Mt. Eleanor is a great one for the in shape hiker within 20 miles. Short hikes are everywhere and right up the road 8 miles is Twanoh State Park with more hikes.
Bremerton ferry is 50 mins away with a quick boat ride to Seattle. You can walk or take car. The ferry pulls into downtown Seattle so everything is in walking distance. A great way to shop and enjoy the city life.
Wonderful restaurants close by are Robin Hood, Alderbrook Resort, Union Deli-all within 2 miles.
Olympia, the home of Washington's capitol is 35 mins away along US 101, offering all the amenities a city has to offer.
