Thank you 2011 renters for a great season. It was a pleasure to have so many of you back.
This three bedroom, 2 1/2 bath villa is a ground floor access unit ( no flight of stairs to climb with chairs and a cooler, or elevator to wait for to access this unit). It's quiet with all new furnishings. Due to our location compared to other units, we're a 2 minute walk to the beach parking lot, and just another 2 minutes from the beach parking lot to the beach - simple and easy. It rents Saturday (arrive 4pm) to Saturday (depart 10am). For 2011 we repainted the inside. In 2010 we added larger TV's and a NEW HVAC System. It seems some rental units have old, poor cooling A/C units but not ours.
Please note: We do not rent the unit for less than the below listed prices to ensure the proper cleanliness, operation, and integrity of the unit, and the complex for a pleasant stay. Your fee comes with a full time property manager to meet your needs while you are visiting. They offer full concierge service and optional grocery service (additional charge).
The island's best beach (less crowded than plantation beaches)includes restrooms and a shower area for rinsing off. Life Guards are on duty from mid-March to October, 8 to 5, and morning/dusk walks on the beach are just awesome. This is an end unit which adds to the privacy of the villa and has three outdoor patios (don't settle for one small patio). It has a private patio in the front with a gas grill off the kitchen that's suitable for outdoor lunches, parking the beach buggy with chairs, and bike storage. The rear patio is shaded with comfortable seating (see pic), as is a child's eating and play area patio right off the side sliding doors which let in a lot of light. The three spacious bedrooms (see pictures) are upstairs so entertaining can continue downstairs.
The large shaded swimming pool is just a few steps from the front door and has restrooms. 'Adventure Cove', a wholesome children's entertainment area, is located a very short walk away. There are also good restaurants within easy walking distance. This villa is perfect for two families or a family bringing along the grandparents for a fun family vacation. A great 3 bedroom vacation home at a reasonable price.

The property is perfect for a family looking for a vacation in Hilton Head. The condo is perfectly sized, well stocked with kitchen essentials and close to the beach. There are many options for rentals in Hilton Head, but few are as close to the beach and as centrally located as this property. For families looking for a great value, I highly recommend this property!

We really liked this place, it was a good value for the money and perfect for the family. The beach is beautiful and a fast walk. Loved the decorations and front patio for bike storage.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with young children.

Despite the rainy, chilly weather we had a great time while at Stones Throw Villa. We had plenty of space for 2 adults and 3 teenage boys. The beach was a nice morning walk away and all stores etc were a nice bike ride away. We really appreicate the great communication and property offered, they are awesome people to work with!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
