This single story, 2,465 square foot home, including covered veranda, is quiet but just a few feet to the highway/bus and a 3 minute drive to the village. It is in the beautiful "Los Sabinos" development by Interlago, long term builders of luxury homes.
Enter through the front door, to a foyer and the soothing sound of a fountain, feel the soft light from the skylight framed by timbers. From the foyer, step into the living/dining area that has a boveda (bricked, arched) ceiling with chandelier. Here, the sliding glass doors open to an incredible view of the lake and surrounding mountains that you can enjoy from the veranda and garden area in Ajijic’s “eternal spring” weather.
The home is furnished with local furniture made-to-order, antique chairs and master bedroom suite, copper-covered dining table, beautifully upholstered dining chairs, Mexican Rustico
Queen bedroom suite. Both king and queen beds have very comfortable Tempur-Pedic mattresses.
Through out the house are wooden doors, granite counters and tiles floors. All faucets provide filtered water. The large kitchen is open to the living/dining area and view, and has maple cabinets and a boveda cupola. The master bedroom has sliding glass doors revealing the lake and mountains, a boveda ceiling with chandelier and built-in closets. The two other rooms have built-in closets and mountain views. The carport holds two autos.
