This elegant light filled contemporary Mill Valley home merges indoor and outdoor living with dramatic results, creating a space that is perfect for entertaining or relaxing. Walk to downtown to shop or eat at one of Mill Valley’s great restaurants, or hike from the backyard to Mt. Tamalpais trails.
The main living areas bask in the sunlight from a row of French doors, a striking glass tower, and skylights set in a dramatic angled ceiling. A corner of the living room has a gas fireplace. A 52”plasma television is above. The gourmet chef’s kitchen opens onto a lovely garden and plant filled patio with a built-in barbeque grill and outdoor fridge.
This floor also has an office, a bedroom with King sized bed and a full bath. Walk out the French doors of the living area to a large southern-facing deck that looks out over lush landscaping and to the open space beyond. All of the gardens are lit and most interior lights are on dimmers, which gives the house a soft glow at night.
Down the glass tower staircase is the master suite level. Through a door in the hallway is the laundry room. Through large double doors is the Master suite with King bed, black out curtains, a large walk in closet, a small work out room which includes a wall-mount television , and a master bath with separate shower, a jetted Jacuzzi bath, toilet room, double sinks and radiant heating. French doors open from the work out room and the bedroom to another tiled deck that has the same southern view. From this level you can access the garden.
The upper level of the house is the other bedroom suite. A doorway from the main entry leads upstairs to this bright large bedroom. There is a private bath, a queen size bed and sweeping desk.
The house has hardwood flooring, concrete and carpeted floors, is wired for sound inside and out, and a security system. This is Marin living at its finest!
