Fully furnished, beautifully renovated Monterey Square townhouse (top two floors) available for short or long term rental in the heart of Savannah's landmark district. The house is ideal for two couples traveling together or larger families. The flat is not suitable for small children. Kuhlman house is located steps from Monterey Square and Mercer House. Walk to everything the landmark district has to offer - shops, squares, Paula Deen's The Lady & Sons, as well as many other restaurants and museums. This Deluxe 2 bedroom/ 2 .5 bath townhouse comfortably sleeps up to 4 adults. There is a sofa bed in the front parlor that works great for children, however, the townhouse is inappropriate for children under the age of seven. No smoking allowed. Please be sure to check the calendar for availability. Each bedroom has its own in-suite bathroom.
Find the right place to stay during your visit: We want to be sure that the flat is a good match for you and meets your needs so that you will enjoy your stay in Savannah. With that in mind, we try to provide you with as much information as possible. The flat is very nice, very clean and very well-maintained. It is a quiet place. It is definitely not a “party pad” and that is the way we want it. Most of our tenants are here for historic tourism purposes with their family, partner or friends, or just because they enjoy visiting historic Savannah. A number of our tenants rent the flat at least once or twice per year and some rent it on a monthly basis. If you are seeking a place to 'party', Kuhlman House is not what you are looking for and we encourage you to stay in one of Savannah's many hotels. Savannah's Landmark District is rated as on of the nation's most walkable cities. This is a great place to visit if you enjoy walking, green spaces and historic architecture.
About Parking in the National Landmark District: There is normally plenty of parking on-street, in front of Kuhlman House. The city of Savannah does require everyone, permanent residents and guests alike, to obtain a parking permit or feed the meters in order to park on-street during weekdays (8 am to 5 pm) in almost all of the national landmark district, which is where Kuhlman House is located. Weeknights after 5 pm and weekends offer free parking. The guest parking permit fee is $8 for a 48 hour period. The permit entitles you to park in any metered space or city owned garage at no additional charge, so it is really a pretty good deal if your don’t like to walk or take peddy cabs.

- Walk to everything from your deluxe, historic, 2/2.5 townhouse located on Monterey Square. This is a quiet, nicely and comfortably furnished two-floor flat that comfortably sleeps 6 people. Each bedroom has its own private bath. Walk to Mercer House (Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil), Paula Deen's and everything else the Landmark District has to offer.

- Pet Friendly : No aggressive breed dogs. Well behaved, trained dogs welcome.
- Not Suitable for Children : Due to the age of the house, the heart pine floors and gas fireplaces, this home is not a good match for families with small children.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters : This flat is not a good match for anyone looking for a place to "party". This is a beautiful, quiet home, in a quiet, prestigious national landmark district neighborhood. If you are looking for a "party pad" and that is the way we want it. I would suggest one of Savannah's many hotels.
