What a beautiful place!! It was very clean and well decorated with a fantastic layout. The location was great too...close to shopping, golf, hiking, etc. I would definately stay in this villa again and highly recommend it! :)

This property is exquisite. I found it to be luxurious (great linens and bedding!), really well decorated in the southwest style, peaceful, comfortable and large. The two separate living areas provided privacy, as did the outdoor terrasses. The internet access was fully functional. The pool steps away was wonderful when we wanted to go for a dip or a bit of relaxing. I took loads of photos of the blooming flowers in the Carefree gardens with my new DSLR camera. We enjoyed lots of day trips, including Sedona, Walnut Park, Tonto National Park and the Grand Canyon, and we hiked a few mountains including the beautiful Black Mountain a few minutes away. I didn't even mind the coyotes howling at the full moon around 4AM one night. Even saw a banjo-playing cowboy singing Edith Piaf in french in a saloon!! Anyways, highly recommend this unit and Arizona altogether. Enjoy!

Carefree Thanksgiving Vacation

My husband and I rented Karl's unit with another couple. The unit was clean, spacious, and very relaxing. Furniture was upscale and comfortable, as were the beds/linens. The home really does have everything you might need while visiting. We enjoyed the Carefree and Cave Creek areas - there is plenty to do between unique local restaurants and shops, as well as several parks in the area with nice hiking trails. The temps were in the low to mid 70's, so the hot tub and heated pool (generally around 85 degrees) were nice on the warmer days. It was very easy to pick up and drop off the key, and it's about a 35 minute drive to the Sky Harbor Airport. There were many dogs in the complex (Its pet friendly in most cases), so there was some barking in the early morning, etc., that could annoy. Internet access was also weak and intermittent. Although we were just checking email and surfing, it could be a problem if you absolutely needed to get work done while on vacation. We also used the fitness center up the road (by the tennis courts) and it had all the basic equipment to get a workout. Excellent dinner at Tonto's Bar and Grill, worth the trip just for the cuisine! I would recommend this unit, Karl was a pleasure to work with!

Our family travelled from Canada for our son's destination wedding in Scottsdale. From the initial contact with Karl to our refund deposit arriving in an extremely timely manner, we cannot say enough about our experience. The unit is really well furnished and equipped; the location relative to the pool is excellent; and Carefree is a lovely community, away from the tone of both Scottsdale and Phoenix. Family and friends were staying in other units in this complex and from experience, we can most certainly say that this unit far surpassed other units in quality, decor and location. Thank you Karl for all your assistance with a wonderful wedding week in your Carefree home!

Wonderful Wedding Anniversary Villa Stay!

My wife and I had a great time staying at this beautifully furnished Care Free Villa. It exceeded all our expectations! We enjoyed the convenient location near the clubhouse pool and hot tub. Very quiet villa area with beautiful views. Really enjoyed the great room with the large kitchen and living room. Patio perfect for privacy. Master bedroom super comfortable with huge closet, large deep jet size tub and a big walk in shower. Can't say enough about how well the owner has taken care of his villa. Thoroughly enjoyed Care Free and Cave Creek. Dinner at Tonto's Bar and Grill including an awesome view of the golf course was terrific. Enjoyed a very good mexican dinner on the patio of El Encanto in Cave Creek. Went horseback riding at Saguaro Lake Ranch Stables which was fantastic. Rode up high over the lake and along Salt Creek. Well worth the drive to Mesa! If you go, have lunch on the patio overlooking Saguaro Lake at the Lakeshore Restaurant. Hiked some great trails at Cave Creek Regional Park. We love Care Free and hope to return next year. Highly recommend this villa!

Thanksgiving 2010

We stayed on the ground level of this beautiful 4 plex unit over the Thanksgiving 2010 holiday. The access to the pool was only 1/2 block away and very convenient. The floor plan and furniture were high end. The 2.5 bathrooms were a plus. We would recommend this for a return stay.

We stayed here over Christmas while visiting family in Cave Creek and really enjoyed this condo. We've stayed at The Boulders nearby in past years and were equally impressed with this unit. The decor was much nicer than many other units in the development. We'd definitely stay here again!

What an amazing vacation spot... The condo was fantastic, luxurious, spacious and gorgeous. My family loved the pools and the grounds around the condo as well. The villa was great -- very spacious and it's a great location if you have kids (across from the pool)! Carefree and Cave Creek have so much character compared to Scottsdale. We would definitely recommend this property.

I planned a golf vacation with some friends and we stayed here. We played 36 holes/day. We loved proximity to some of the best golf in the area. The Villa in this upscale gated community was perfect it seemed new and fresh. The pool and hot tub was perfect after a long day on the course.

This Villa is very fresh, furnished and decorated to a very high standard, very nicely located close to the pool facilities, and backs onto a quiet, scenic desert strip adjacent to a golf course. Very enjoyable and upscale environment.
