150 feet from the water and private sandy beach, this spacious 2 bedroom condo has been completely remodeled. Bring your Kayaks and put them on the beach while you're here! We're located in the 'Chateau Chamonix' complex, with it's own private gated pool, lakefront lawn for barbequing or Frisbee, and private, soft, and sandy beach.

During the winter, the condo has a central location to many area ski resorts, and is only a 10 minute drive to Nortstar. The outside entryway is heated to melt snow, and parking is only steps away from the front door so access is quick and easy.

Inside, the condo is two stories. Upstairs it has two big bedrooms - each with it's own full bath, vaulted ceilings, and each with a queen-size bed. The master bedroom even has a view of Lake Tahoe!

Downstairs is everything you need, and it's all brand new!! Full kitchen with all new Jenn-air appliances, indoor grill, concrete countertops, and espresso machine too! Hardwood floors, and heated tile entryway floor. Best of all is the 37" LCD screen, DVD entertainment center with surround. WiFi, fax, phone....

There is a small patio in back to BBQ, dry your wetsuits, or store your toys.

But above all is the location. You can walk to Safeway in 5 minutes, or Lanza's restaurant in 3 minutes. And the famous Moondune beach, is only a minute walk on the beach. The complex is only about a 30 second drive from the 267/ Highway 28 intersection.

  • We rent a condo in Tahoe for a week every summer and every year we search for a different place on vrbo. Next summer will be different: we will definitely try to book this place again. With two small kids, it just doesn't get more convenient than this complex; with the beach steps away and the pool even closer. The second BR's closet was big enough to fit our pack n' play, so we were able to put our 1 and 3 year olds in the room together without them keeping each other up at bedtime. With two spacious masters, the condo is perfect for a family or two couples. The kitchen is nicely appointed and the couch cozy. The complex's beach has a shallow cove where our girls could play in the water without us having to worry. We liked this place so much that I am scared to give it too great of a review - we want to be able to get in next summer!

  • We enjoyed our stay very much. Condo is very comfortable and quiet. Location is very convenient, close to shops and restaurants. The patio is not wonderful but is exactly what it says in the description, for BBQ and drying or storing stuff. Anyway, who needs a patio if you are so close to the beach.... And the owner is very helpful. We would definately use it again if we want to spend more time at Lake Tahoe.

  • We were so pleasantly surprised during our stay at the end of June. It was perfect for our family. Our 2 year old played until his heart's content at the private beach only steps away and in the well maintained pool. Small touches like tasteful decor, a fireplace and other amenities give it a home away from home feel versus the typical rental unit. Very friendly neighbors and conveniently located to grocery store, etc. - didn't have to get in the car for days. We'll definitely stay here again!

  • My husband and I stayed at this beautiful condo for a week in August. The unit was very nice and homey. We were very impressed with the decor and how new everything seemed. It was so well equipped that you hardly needed anything to complete your stay. We would highly recommend this unit. Also, the landlord was very easy to work with. Everything was done in a timely matter and was done exactly as expressed. A wonderful experience for a wonderful vacation.

  • This unit is FANTASTIC! Very spacious, tastefully decorated and stocked with everything you will need to make your vacation a blast. Most mornings we'd wake up, take our mugs of coffee down to the lakeshore (yes the lake is just mere steps away) and we'd watch our girls wade through the clear water in search of crayfish lurking amongst the big boulders. We'd spend our afternoons laying by the pool and then would return to the lake to watch the sun go down. Furthermore, after speaking with several nearby vacationers and homeowners, people couldn't believe the low rate we were paying for such a spacious unit with such incredible proximity to Lake Tahoe. Net net, this Lakefront condo was the best deal in town and a true slice of heaven. I can't wait to return!
