Ships' Point is located in the Baynes Sound area,a Birders' and Naturalists' Paradise! A haven for water birds from September through April, attracted by the plentiful oysters, mussels, clams, snails and other crustaceans in the area. The various species include Black Scoters, Black Turnstones, Harlequin Ducks, Western Grebes, Greater Scaup, Common Golden Eyes, Buffleheads, Rock Sandpipers and surf birds. There are also regular sightings of Sea Lions and Seals, basking on the nearby log booms, awaiting the annual herring run. We welcome birders and naturalists to come and savour this abundance of bird and sea life whilst enjoying all the comforts of "Seashore House".
Enjoy the peace and tranquility of Ships' Point, whilst revelling in luxury accommodations and idyllic surroundings, all within easy access of nearby villages and towns.
