Our entire family (2 grandchildren), 2 adult children and us (Grandparents) enjoyed a wonderful week at Villa Saint Tropez. The owners were the most informative, friendly people. The site doesn't do the house justice, it was everything and more that is featured. We enjoyed the beautiful stroll down tree covered lanes to the Beach and to Town. With the lovely, open, modern kitchen, we ate most of our meals at the house. Although many fine restaurants are just a golf cart ride away. My husband is ready to return today, despite the 100 degree weather at this time. Thank you Victoria for a memorable stay at your lovely home. Your prompt attention to any questions we had made this an easy choice of us.

My family and I had a wonderful June week this year. We would definitely go back and have in fact planned a spring vacation there. The owner was most responsive to our needs and concerns and made us feel like we were special guests. The home is beautiful and the pool house was just what we needed for our rather large family. We found the location quite central and enjoyed riding the golf cart to most places in the area. We bought seafood from a local store and grilled most nights. Truly delicious. Thanks again Victoria, and we look forward to seeing you in the near future. Margaret

My family and our best friends had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed staying at Villa St. Tropez. The property is pretty and relaxing at the same time. After busy days we enjoyed quite evenings floating in the large spa and grilling on the deck. I highly recommend purchasing fresh fish down the street from Goatfeathers and grilling it up at the Villa. I personally enjoyed early morning walks to the beach down the quiet roads. We loved how secluded the property is even though the beach and all activities are just a few blocks away. As first time visitors we enjoyed the areas Victoria recommended for meals and also enjoyed exploring the beautiful coast and participating in many activities. We will definetely be back. Thank you for sharing your home.

SAVE YOURSELF ~ DO NOT RENT

We are frequent travelers and we rent luxury properties through VBRO often. Villa St. Tropez should not be described, as “luxurious”, “majestic” or “romantic” and the photos online are very deceiving. The home is un-kept, smells like smoke and is lived in full time when not being rented. The décor in the home is not what is shown in the photos. The walls need painting, the linens should be updated and the landscaping needs to be tended to. The master bathroom door is missing, the outdoor sun umbrella has been jimmied with duck tape, the sink in one of the guest bathrooms has a slow drain, the cooking utensils are poor and the cabinets are very disorganized. The outdoor shower area looks like it is being used as a storage shed and the “pool” is the size of a large Jacuzzi. A short four days before our arrival, we were told that we could not use the guesthouse due to a “fire from a previous renter’s cigarette”. While we tried to be sympathetic to the situation, we needed the extra space for sleeping adults and had hoped for a partial refund in rent for the trouble. The use of the guesthouse was the sole reason why we chose to rent the property in the first place. A refund was denied as well as the option to be released from our contract without penalty to find a more suitable home. The owners “solution” was to place a cot in the main house for the extra adult we had in our party (this was our annual family vacation, NOT a camping trip)! The homeowners treated us poorly and I would not recommend this rental to anyone. Save yourself and your vacation by renting a different home!
Owner response:This is one of those rare situations where VRBO homeowners should be aware of who you rent your valuable homes to. This renter is close to what I will call a con-artist! When we sent the contract to the renter he kept changing his mind and held us up for such a long time that we had to agree to a major discount which is very unusual for a Villa in this standard and location. It was to late to find other vacation renter's and he kept telling us that now because of the economy he could not afford the property. He only had so much money that he got from his father for a Christmas gift etc. etc. We felt sorry for the family and agreed to this last minute major discount. His deposit as well as his final payment came in to late and when he arrived he was suppose to bring final payment which our staff was collecting before he was given the keys. This is not normal since he was suppose to pay final payment 14 days prior to arrival! He took the keys from our staff and would not give her the final payment. We had to call the sheriffs department to have him pay his final or leave the property. When the sherif came he kept saying that he was suppose to have the guest house meanwhile he never had a contract that said the guest house was included, just that we promised him there was nobody staying in the guest house while he occupied the property. At this time we also gave him the keys to the golf cart and did not charge a fee. ($ 450/week) This is what you get for being to nice and loose on your terms. Unfortunately these type of renter's are the ones that take advantage of you being gracious , maybe we should have some type of credit check or screening process for the future or maybe an idea for VRBO that we also can make reviews on renter's!! Unfortunately these type of renters are why there is no more room to be large and understanding.......very very sad. A sad and hurt homeowner :(

We stayed for a quick weekend getaway and found this property to be absolutely magical! We were absolutley swept away by the properties luxurious yet down to earth ambiance. It was the perfect place to feel romantic, private and secluded, as well as enjoy our family togetherness. The location was perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle yet still be just blocks away from the night life, beach and all the wonderful amenities of Seaside. The owners were wonderful to deal with..absolutely charming and welcoming! We will definitely come back and highly recommend this magical property to anyone who needs to retreat to the beautiful beaches of Santa Rosa county! Thank you for the "Magical Memories" Villa Saint Tropez!

We stayed at this gorgeous villa for a week in February, and it was amazing! It was exactly the retreat we needed to relax and have fun! My husband loves to cook, so the large open kitchen and living area was perfect for all of us to enjoy hanging out together. In the evenings the weather was a little cool, so we all took advantage of the heated pool/hot tub. The location was great as well, we were in walking distance to the beautiful white sandy beach, brand new upscale restaurant The V in Seagrove, and a convenient walking and biking distance from Seaside town center. This beautiful spa-like private retreat provided us with the relaxing vacation we needed, we will definitely return to this property. Not much else to say - Welcome to Paradise! ? ?

Villa Saint Tropez was stunning upon arrival. It felt like our fortress from reality. We found the owner very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. The owner's dining suggestions were spot on. We plan to return as soon as possible! The outside grounds around the heated spa were spacious unlike most properties we have stayed at before in the area. A bonus for sure. The home is very inviting with a clean, fresh style. Having the master on the opposite side of the home allows for additional privacy. The accommodations were very comfortable. TVs in all the bedrooms allowed everyone to have their own space. We found the location ideal. It was convenient, easy to find and very private. You are sure to enjoy your stay here in epic paradise.

Although the Villa a fine place for a family, the rating can only be "good" because of problems with the microwave, the oven and the dryer. However, the primary complaint lies with the fact that our security deposit was not returned, despite our leaving the property as we found it. This deposit was to be in an escrow account, not subject to financial problems that the owner has encountered. This means that our money is being withheld illegally.
Owner response:We are sorry that you feel that your damage deposit was withheld wrongfully. The microwave, oven and dryer fuse switch were tripped but our concierge service came immediately to correct the problem. The main problem was that your teenagers were left on property unattended and our housekeeping staff found the screens off the windows and towels thrown below outside indicating they had a party. We felt that your deposit should have been kept in escrow. We have learned not to accept reservations when there are only two adults with more teenagers. Villa St. Tropez is an exclusive property and we pride ourselves on renting to this clientele. Sadly this is the first bad review Villa St. Tropez has ever received.

I received your guest survey and would like to answer it in this email. No survey could adequately describe the joy and confidence your level of service provided. We felt like locals. Whenever we had a problem, any problem, (the chain came off the child's bike, extra umbrella, grocery items) we would be asked where we were staying, upon telling them Villa St Tropez, the reply was, "That is a beautiful property, in a great area, GG takes care of it. We will take care of you," or "I will call GG for you", "I will take care of the problem and call GG for you" .The respect you have in the community allowed us to settle in and enjoy the friendly atmosphere of Seagrove and Villa St. Tropez. As for the Villa, stunning! We were immediately drawn in to the 'feel' the owners embedded into their home. We felt the charm of the Villa, the seclusion of being located on the fringe, and indulgence of cutting edge creature comforts. Truly a combination worth experiencing again. We hope to see you next year, we hope and pray for your well being. Thank you, Scott Henry and Friends. =

Some great aspects of this private retreat is it's high quality, wonderful family atmosphere and walking dirt roads through the magnolia trees to the beach, Seaside Village, restaurants and shopping. Overall it is set up for an absolutely peaceful and relaxing time away from it all. I enjoyed my time there.
Owner response:We look forward to hosting you in Villa St. Tropez again this summer.
