The house was great! We had a wonderful time on the property! The house was clean and very roomy. We saw a lot of deer every morning that just walked right by the house. Also, it was very easy to find the house. We are defiantly on planning on coming back because we had such a great relaxing time.

What more can you ask for? 7 friends, 4 ATV's, fishing, peace and quiet! The house was great, plenty of room. The property was amazing. Nothing can beat the view. I think we have found our new Rednecking weekend go to spot! Thanks for everything!

For 4 weeks "The Pines" was our home away from home. We were in the area on a long term business trip and this property was much better than staying in a hotel. The cabin was very nice and roomy for the three of us. We enjoyed the ammenities of the cabin along with walking the property and fishing in the pond. Thanks to Newton and his team for everything!

Seven of us stayed at the cabin for our annual "fishing" weekend, and could not have been happier. The cabin was perfect, and the solitude was exactly what we were looking for. We caught several different species of fish in the pond, including bass & catfish. Of course we put them back for the next time! We can't wait to go back in the fall. Newton & Flavio- thanks for everything, we really enjoyed it!
Owner response:Thanks Tom, I am waiting for you in November. Take care!

Really enjoyed our stay at the house. There was plenty of room for our group of 6. Could easily fit a group of 10 or up. We were there primarily to ski at nearby Elk Mountain and the lodge was a short drive to the slopes. The amenities were great and we did not have any problems with the unit. Would definitely recommend to others.

We enjoyed a wonderful winter getaway at the Pines. The property is truly unique with no close neighbors and full access to a great property with hiking\snowshoe trails and a pond. The house can sleep a lot of folks and has all the amenties you could want - hot tub on the second floor overlooking the mountains and the pond; satellite TV; two stone, woodburning fireplaces and a lovely porch with a scenic view. The house is an easy 30 minutes from Elk Mountain and 5 minutes from the Rail Trail. We plan on returning in the Fall to enjoy the foliage and a bonfire in the Pavillion adjacent to the pond.
Owner response:Thanks Stuart, It was a pleasure having you guys at the The Pines. We will be here whenever you guys need. Take Care!

The house and property were very nice for a weekend for me and my friends who needed a place to stay while skiing at Elk Mountain. The cabin was cozy, and there was space for tons more people than we brought. I would definitely rent this house again for another weekend!
Owner response:Thank you, We will be waiting for you next year with new updates to the house. Thanks again.

We enjoyed our stay! The home is large and roomy with great views of the countryside. I agree with the previous guest. The furniture and flooring need to be updated. The house was clean and warm. We were on a ski vacation (Elk Mountain). If you would include the fastest directions to Elk, that would be helpful for future guests. Most trips to Elk took 40 min. until we discovered that 171 to 92 only took 30 min. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

I had to rent a house quickly near Lanesboro, PA. Our family Thanksgiving at my in-laws has grown substantially over the last few years. To have a little peace and quiet, I found a house within 10 minutes. The setting was perfect. My son and his cousins loved exploring the pond and the woods. The greeting of wild turkeys and deer every morning was a nice touch. One day it snowed and the hills looked magical. The furniture and fixtures could use a little updating, but the house was clean and solid. It took only 10 minutes for the house to heat up and it remained comfortable throughout our stay. We will definitely rent this property again.
Owner response:Thanks Steve, We are already working on the updates, next year when you come we will have the wood floor instead of the carpet in the living area. See you next year!

This is my 2nd year renting The Pines and both times it has proven to be the most serene and secluded get away you could ask for! A Godly view from the deck, Cozy loft master bedroom, ATV and/or walking trails to spend a day getting lost in and a small town near by for any essentials you may have forgotten on your way haha! I definitly would reccomend this house to anyone looking to have a nice, relaxing, peaceful get away Thanks again Newton & Flavio! Mike Ketterer

We had a wonderful relaxing time. The property is very large with several tracks to hike on. We were able to hike through the meadow and in the forest surrounding the property. There are two creeks where we enjoyed soaking our feet. The lake is peaceful and we enjoyed early morning and late afternoon swims. The house is furnished nicely, with a gorgeous view of the lake from the living room. Really enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the water. We would definately recommend the property and would return on a future vacation.
Owner response:Thanks Chana, It was very nice having you guys over! I am very glad you enjoyed it! I hope I can always make my guests as happy as I made you guys. See you next time. Take care

A group of friends met up at the cabin for a great weekend. The view was fantastic. You felt away from everything, yet we were only a few miles from stores in town (in case you forget something). On the property is a pond with great fishing with a near by firepit. It was a wonderful get away and had plenty of space and sleeping areas for everybody.
Owner response:Thanks Stuart, We are very pleased to hear that you guys enjoyed it! We are always trying to do the best so you guys feel what it is to be in this wonderful place and feel all the good things that this property can provide! The fishing is really great isn't it! See you next time buddy! Take care
