For the non- boater, walk or ride (golf carts are the preferred method of transportation on the island) to private, gorgeous Florida beaches; several are within a mile of the house. Some of the areas best shells and sharks teeth can be uncovered at these beaches.
The local resort has a restaurant and gift/accessories shop within 2.5 miles. If you find it necessary to leave this paradise, there are golf courses, movie theaters and shopping within 30 minutes of the island.
