Decorated in soft neutral tones, this beautiful 3000 square foot home is located within a short three – four minute walk to our fabulous beach. Beachwood West, a residential section of Wild Dunes, is very centrally located – about a five minute bike ride to the best that Wild dunes has to offer: Grand Pavilion, Tennis courts, Fitness center, Resort pool, and restaurants and stores.
The large living room is perfect for family gatherings and opens to the tranquil screened porch – perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The living area also opens to the nice sized dining room – again, just perfect for family gatherings.
The main living area also offers a sunroom located right off of the dining room, where we have added a pool table - fun for the whole family!. We’ve found that to be a great game room for the kids or a great place to escape if you need to work on your laptop. Kids can chill out and play pool while the adults commandeer the living room!
The galley style kitchen boast Corian counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and all the kitchen utensils you’ll need to prepare that gourmet meal. There is also a small kitchen table so family members can hang out with the chef of the family while they are cooking.
When you come in on the first level, there are two bed rooms. The first is a rather large room (easily considered a master) with a queen bed and a guest room, also with queen bed. The downstairs “master” also has it’s own private porch with a hammock – just what you need to get away from it all for awhile. Both rooms share a generous bath room with tub/shower combination.
Going up to the second floor (we call this the main level) there is a true master suite. This room offers a king bed and has it’s own private bath. The fourth bedroom, with 2 twin beds, is also on the main level. This darling room shares a full bath with the den and living area.
The fifth and final room is perfect for kids (both big and small). They will feel very special climbing the spiral staircase to their own private haven. We have added two twin beds This room also has it’s own TV with DVD so the kids can hide away to their hearts content! This upstairs hideaway offers a ½ bath with sink and toilet only.
This house has it all – a very short walk to the beach, a short walk or bike ride to central Wild dunes (Grand pavilion, Tennis courts, Pool, etc), high speed internet connection, gas grill, and a fenced back yard (very rare in Wild dunes).
Staying at Wild Dunes Resort affords great relaxation for families of all ages. Whether relaxing on the beach, sipping cool, island drinks up at the Grand Pavilion, or strolling along winding nature trails, there is something for everyone! What a beautiful place to stay while attending your son's wedding in SC. The house is very comfortable and has lots of amenities - not to mention spotlessly clean! The beach across the street is very clean and great to sunbathe and read on. We loved our stay!

This is our favorite rental at Wild Dunes. We have stayed in this house many times and we are never disappointed. The location is central to everything we need and convenient to the beach and the Pavilion. The space is perfect for families. We love the comfortable beds and the decor is far beyond "rental" quality. The house is always clean and maintained when we arrive. I highly recommend this house and we will continue to stay here. We look forward to another visit in late July!

We loved this five bedroom house that is beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable in a great location convenient to all of Wild Dunes amenities. From the beautiful family room to the recently renovated bathrooms this house was a pleasant surprise. The kids enjoyed playing billiards each day and we set their wii games up in the loft area which is perfect for kids. The adults enjoyed the screened porch and everyone loved having access to the golf cart. We will return and hopefully sooner than later.

We loved the house and the location! It is incredibibly comfortable from the bedrooms to the family room to the screened in porch. It is convenient to the beach as well all of the amenities of Wild Dunes. The billiards table was great fun for the whole family and having use of the golf cart was a nice treat as well. We will definitely return.

The house was perfect for our family. It is tastefully decorated and spacious. The proximity to the beach, tennis courts, pool and little market at the inn made it the perfect vacation house for us. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning next year.

31 Beachwood West is an excellent vacation home. We were very pleased. The home's proximity to the beach,tennis/pool, and nightly activities was perfect. It was very comfortable with a wonderful porch. The addition of a pool table was a big hit with my kids. I would recommend it!
