I recently spent a week-long get-away with my sisters at Edistoway 2. The home is lovely; it is new, very well maintained, and well appointed. There is even an elevator leading from the garage or beach to the first floor. The owner's sense of decor is both homey and upscale. The kitchen has every appliance and utensil one could need including a gas stove and tons of counter space. I don't think the pictures do the place justice! While the gathering spaces inside the home are inviting, the porch, overlooking the ocean, that spans the entire front of the home is where we spent most of our time when we weren't walking the beach. The location is very well situated minutes from neighborhood restaurants, a local golf course, and eclectic shops. A day in nearby, charming Charleston topped off our visit. It was a wonderful, laid back, and entirely relaxing week. We definitely plan to return soon!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children.
