Step out onto your beautiful front lawn surrounded with natural landscaping.

This home was perfect for 4 people to enjoy San Juan Island. Danielle and Jason have everything in the home you could need (even the coffee maker filters). The bedding and furnishings are lovely (King in main room, queen in second room, bunks in third room). Beds are comfortable. The home is very quiet. Only 1 mile walk to the sculpture park and then across the road to Roche Harbor Resort for fish and chips at the Lime Kiln Cafe on the dock. The island has lots to offer: lavendar farm, alpaca farm, lighthouse at Lime Kiln State Park (watch porpoise off shore), shops and restaurants at Friday Harbor. Only a short drive from ferry at Friday Harbor to the house. The deck is wonderful for viewing wildlife (deer) and having BBQ's. Will stay here again for sure. Highly recommended. I have to say the photos don't really do this place justice! The place was nice and roomy with just about every amenity that you could think of including a huge deck with large grill (which we used several times during our visit), HUGE master with large bath and two other nice-sized bedrooms with two beds each that share a jack and jill bath-as well as another powder bath! It seems like the owners thought of everything from games to videos to music, outdoor games-everything! Our first day there we were having dinner and watched as a white-tail fox sauntered across the yard as if it were his own! The next day we observed several deer out in the yard and drive...simply amazing. We also watched as eagles soared over Westcott Bay, which you can also see parts of from the home. VERY, VERY clean, well maintained and just a gem of a palce to stay. We WILL be back!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children, people with disabilities.

This is the 2nd time my Sister's and I stayed at Quarry Point Vacation Rental, it is now an annual event. The property is pristine, the home has everything you need and more. Not only is it clean ( as I am a clean freak ) the towels, robes, linens are all first class like we enjoy in our own home. We bbq'd , sat on the deck, watched a big buck walk on by and eagles overhead, foxes, everyday had a wildlife spotting. The huge deck is perfect for sharing a glass of bubbly and a good game out of the amazing game closet. The kitchen and living room are perfect for us cooks and guests as everyone is connected with the open floor plan. Look no further if you are wanting a relaxing , hassle free vacation, this is the spot.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

When we walked in, the house looked (and smelled) wonderful. There was a group of 6 of us staying in Roche Harbor for a wedding, and Quarry Point was the perfect place to stay. It's close to the heart of the town, located in a somewhat secluded area with a view of the lake and surrounding woods, and a beautiful, big deck. The house is equipped with everything you need, from cookware to towels and DVDs, CDs, and games. The house was very clean and well-maintained, making us feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this home to others and would love to come back again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My whole family was heading over to Roche Harbor for a wedding and decided to make a long weekend of it. We discovered Quarry Point and couldn't have been more pleased with our stay! It was a perfect house in an even more perfect location. The house has everything you need, and the most amazing deck! Very comfortable and clean! We will be back for another getaway and will definitely be staying here again!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

Beautiful, peaceful, accomodating, relaxing are just a few words to describe this property. I highly recommend picking this location. The house is amazing. It couldn't have been more perfect for us. We were traveling with small children and there was so much land for them to run around on and lots of toys and games to play with. It was great for us adults to just be able to sit out on that huge deck and watch them play. The house was super clean, comfortable, and had everything you could need. I honestly can't say enough about it. I sincerely hope to go back someday soon.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children.

My sister's and I were looking for a nice vacation in a quiet setting , and not a hotel. This was a fabulous choice. Everything listed is there and so much more. It was better stocked with gadgets and high end art than my own home. We enjoyed cooking on the grill, oysters on the half shell and crab from the docks and the darling deer with their offspring was a treat to see, almost everyday. One of the highlights was a great big horned owl that took a curious interest in us and showed up two days in a row. The owners have thought of everything, thick robes, high quality towels, and it means alot to us that it is super clean when we checked in. The owners were highly communicative and made it a smooth transaction. The setting was perfect, quiet and yet minutes away from the resort. My family and I stayed at Quarry Point Retreat from 07/29/10-08/02/10. It was a much needed vacation for my husband, two sons, and me. We found Quarry Point to be very comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. Situated on a beautiful piece of property overlooking Wescott Bay, we felt like we had escaped from society in luxury! The home is surrounded by wooded areas with wildlife all around. Deer came every morning and evening into the yard, and we all thoroughly enjoyed their visits. All of the amenities that make living comfortable were included, and the artwork in the home exquisite. The town of Roche Harbor is nearby, and there are plenty of hiking trails and parks available for adventure seekers. In addition to hiking, we enjoyed a sunset kayaking tour from Mitchell Bay. Our boys were kept busy and happy and we had a terrific time. We plan to return for a future vacation!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

About the owner: My husband and I grew up on the Oregon Coast and developed strong ties to small communities and the Pacific Ocean. During college we spent our summers working on San Juan Island and soon realized this was a place of unique beauty that kept calling us back every year. Fortunately our lively-hoods took us in the direction of the arts, nature & wildlife, a perfect combination that allowed us to make this special island our home.
