Five Star Condo in Expedition Station , Unit # 8572
We rate all of our condos based on four criteria in order to make it easier for vacationers to compare different condos in different buildings. The criteria are as follows: unit size and quality, views, proximity to activities and building quality and amenities.
UNIT SIZE AND QUALITY: *****(5 Stars). This 1010 square foot unit has been completey remodeled with high-end features and appliances in 2008. This beautiful condo features new carpet & paint, as well as new flat-screen HDTV's in the living room and master bedroom. In the master bedroom, you will sleep comfortably in the king size bed with luxurious bed linens. The master bedroom also features a beautiful cherry wood nightstand and dresser. The guest bedroom features a queen size bed with television and is tastefully decorated with mountain inspired décor. You will also enjoy the leather couch and chair in the living room while you relax and watch TV or movies on the flat screen TV with DVD player. If you are working away from home, this condo also features a beautiful desk in the living room. A game table with two chairs can be found in a small alcove off of the living room. The building's washer/dryer is on the 2nd floor and is located right next to our condo. The most unique feature of this property is the huge, wraparound balcony with mountain views, ski slope views, as well as views of the playground and miniature golf course in front of Expedition Station. It can easily accommodate 10+ people comfortably. THIS IS THE LARGEST BALCONY IN RIVER RUN VILLAGE!!
VIEWS **** (4 Stars) This condo has many windows that will allow you to enjoy the mountain views from the living room and both bedrooms. From the balcony, you will enjoy views of the mountains, as well as views of the skiers coming down Dercum Mountain. You can also observe your children playing at the playground or miniature golf course from the balcony.
PROXIMITY TO ACTIVITIES ***** (4 Stars) It is a 2 minute walk to the heart of River Run Village where you will find excellent businesses including restaurants, shopping, bars, winter and summer sports rentals and great people watching. It is approximately 200 yards to the new, high-speed, eight person gondola. If you wish to explore other parts of Summit County (e.g. Breckenridge, Frisco, Dillon, Silverthorne), the free Summit Stage shuttle picks up in front of the building.
BUILDING QUALITY & AMENITIES ****(5 Stars) Expedition Station was completed in the late 90’s and is one of the more exclusive buildings in the resort. The building features two, high-speed elevators that service 91 condominiums. There is an access controlled underground heated garage. Laundry facilities are located on both the first and third floor. Expedition Station has a beautiful lobby with couches, fireplace, pool table, and game tables. This building also features a year-round heated pool , an eight person hot tub, a spacious heated patio with BBQ’s, fitness center, and a steam room for guests’ enjoyment.
KEYSTONE EVENTS:
Keystone is the premier destination for various events, festivals and one-of-a-kind attractions. These include things such as Mardi Gras, Wine Festival, Beer and Blues Festival, Full Production Concerts, Discovery Days for kids, Art Shows and much more. Additionally, you can enjoy Mine Tours, Historical Bus Tour, ATV tours, Four-wheel drive tours, Snow Mobiling, Horse back riding and much more. SUMMER activies include championship golfing (2 courses in Keystone), Mountain biking, Wild Life Tours, the best hiking in North America, White-Water Rafting and Fly Fishing, just too name a few.
FEES & TAXES
We are required by law to charge tax on your stay.
Our cleaning fee is approximately 10% to 20% lower than most others. We keep the rate as low as possible, but it is a real and legitimate fee that everyone has to pay. You either pay for it in the rate, or you pay for it separately.
WE DO NOT CHARGE THE 5.9% RESORT FEE! This is a fictitious fee that many people/companies charge to add to their profit. If you rent from Keystone Resort or many of the other companies in the area, you will be charged this fee.
Just to be clear, taxes and cleaning fees are not included in the posted rates.

What a great weekend we had up here. Not only did we celebrate Grandma's birthday, but the kids also had lots of activities since this was Easter weekend. The snowboarding was a blast. The weather wasn't bad either. Thank you for the use of this wonderful condo. We'd love to stay again in the future.
