The property is 120 feet back from the beach with private beach access. This newer, beautiful, contemporary home is finely appointed with maple cabinets, granite counter tops, bamboo floors, area rugs, washer and dryer, a whirlpool tub in the master bath large enough for two, and much more to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing.
Designed to maximize the fabulous views, the entire guest living area is on the upper floor. Downstairs is a two-car garage for guests and small apartment reserved for owner's use. Step outside on the 6 ft x 35 ft deck and you'll drink in the sights, savor the salt air, fresh ocean breezes, and be ready to head to the beach!
The living room is furnished with comfortable leather furniture. Ceiling fans in the living room, master bedroom, and two queen bedrooms. Gas BBQ on deck.
Yachats, Oregon, is a unique seaside village on the Central Oregon Coast, and offers various festivals and events which draw visitors from afar. We loved this home! Big ocean view windows, beautiful kitchen, plush linens and beds, awesome jet tub, nice big screen tv's, together with being the cleanest property we've ever stayed at... made us feel like we were at a 5 star resort! Loved being able to talk directly with the owners, they were very kind and pleasant, offering great suggestions of where to eat in Yachats. Even though there are two small houses that this property overlooks directly west, it does not detract from the view, and it is a beautiful clear ocean front view to the North. Thank you! Great place to relax. Nice little town. Great hiking trails to explore. We will be back.

We spent the 4 days over Christmas with our daughter, her boyfriend and his parents. The house was just wonderful. We had plenty of room to cook, visit, play games and just relax. The views are spectacular and beach access was great. The owners were gone so we did not get to meet them but they did call to make sure everything was in order. I really appreciated that. We would love to return sometime. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable. The house was very clean.

Sand Castle is a gorgeous home. It is very spacious, well-maintained and comfortable home. It is exceptionally clean and nicely furnished. It was open and airy. All the windows provided wonderful light and fabulous views. Open the window in your bedroom and listen to the waves. What a wonderful way to get lulled to sleep or wake in the morning. The owners are wonderful people. They are very helpful and gracious and sincerely care about their homes and their guests. We would strongly recommend this home to anyone who wants an exceptional stay at the Oregon Coast. We definitely plan to return.

Nice location, clean and nice accommodations. Beds were comfortable. The house was warm for us (visited end of March & first of April) - perhaps the heating system should be adjusted. We would visit again! Thank you.

Our family stayed at this gorgeous beach house in July 2010. The place was spotless, the view was extraordinary, and all of the accommodations were simply fabulous! We stayed with our extended famiy and thus, there were 9 of us sharing the home. There are three beautiful bedrooms and three bathrooms. We never had to worry about waiting for a bathroom! The kitchen was perfect for fixing a crab louis salad and for making breakfast ,or anything else we needed. Beach towels were available, as well as patio chairs and small tables for sitting outside and enjoying the outstanding ocean views. My favorite part of the home was its easy beach access and the fact that we saw whales from the deck on our last day there! They were so worth it all! I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

I would recomend this beautiful home for anyone wanting a relaxing time. The house is beautiful and spacious with a great kitchen. The views from the front room are spectacular. We had a great time and will be coming back in the future.

We had a very enjoyable 10 days at Our Sand Castle. You have a high-quality, clean, neat accomodation which made our stay a pleasure. I highly recommend your place. I enjoyed the quick, easy access to the beach. Being from the prairies, it was a treat to be able to go for daily jogs and enjoy the magnificence of the ocean.

Our Sand Castle is the perfect place to come to with two families or one large family. There is plenty of space and it is renovated beautifully and very comfortable. The beach is just a few steps away and the hosts are friendly and gracious. We will be back for sure!
