If you are looking for spacious and comfortable accommodations, fabulous ocean views, and a great 7 mile long beach for walking, Our Sand Castle is what you're looking for! The property is 120 feet back from the beach with private beach access. This newer, beautiful, contemporary home is finely appointed with maple cabinets, granite counter tops, bamboo floors, area rugs, washer and dryer, a whirlpool tub in the master bath large enough for two, and much more to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing.

Designed to maximize the fabulous views, the entire guest living area is on the upper floor. Downstairs is a two-car garage for guests and small apartment reserved for owner's use. Step outside on the 6 ft x 35 ft deck and you'll drink in the sights, savor the salt air, fresh ocean breezes, and be ready to head to the beach!

The living room is furnished with comfortable leather furniture. Ceiling fans in the living room, master bedroom, and two queen bedrooms. Gas BBQ on deck.

Yachats, Oregon, is a unique seaside village on the Central Oregon Coast, and offers various festivals and events which draw visitors from afar. Nearby attractions include: Oregon Coast Aquarium (Newport), Heceta Head Lighthouse (between Florence & Yachats), Cape Perpetua Interpretive Center (fantastic views from top of Cape Perpetua), Sea Lion Caves (between Florence & Yachats), Hatfield Marine Science Center (Newport), hiking trails - Cummins Ridge (between Florence & Yachats), golfing at Sand Pines (Florence), deep sea fishing out of Newport Whale Watching Excursions, bird watching, wildlife viewing, horseback riding (C&M Stables in Florence), dune buggies (Florence), Darlingtonia Botanical Gardens (Florence), gambling at two casinos: Chinook Winds in Lincoln City, and Three Rivers Casino in Florence, whale watching - spring and fall as whales migrate between Alaska and Mexico, sailing, surfing, and swimming.

  • We had a very enjoyable 10 days at Our Sand Castle. You have a high-quality, clean, neat accomodation which made our stay a pleasure. I highly recommend your place. I enjoyed the quick, easy access to the beach. Being from the prairies, it was a treat to be able to go for daily jogs and enjoy the magnificence of the ocean.

  • Our Sand Castle is the perfect place to come to with two families or one large family. There is plenty of space and it is renovated beautifully and very comfortable. The beach is just a few steps away and the hosts are friendly and gracious. We will be back for sure!

  • Absolutely beautiful. Our experience staying at the Sand Castle was truly incredible. Not only is the beach house a wonderful retreat but having the beach so accessible an added benefit.   • Comment Text: I have stayed with friends at the Sand Castle property a number of times and recommend it to anyone craving a blissful getaway, oceanside. It is obvious that the owners of this property care very much about their guests' stay, as the accommodations are extemely well appointed and perfectly located on miles of beautiful and dramatic Pacific beach. Yachats is a charming community offering excellent dining, Cape Perpetua views, and incredible tidepool exploration. If you stay at the Sand Castle, you will want to return for so many reasons. I recommend the Celtic Music festival in November, but any time I have visited this area has been immensely enjoyable. I can't wait to go back! Thank you Don and Linda for sharing your Castle with us!
