  We planned our journey months in advance and these are our experiences: 1. Planning and booking - great communication with Tom, recommendation of transportation from airport to apartment worked out smooth. 2. Tom introduced us to the apartment quick and easy, just what we wanted after travelling for 30 hours from Sweden. 3. Apartment - everything what we needed was there and it was correct described. As our mobile phone turned out to be not functioning in US, we were very pleased to see that internet was just a cable away. We managed to solve our communicatin that way instead. 4. Our summary is: You probably can't get any more for the money and so close to everything in Waikiki or Honolulu. If we ever will return to Hawaii we know where to stay.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  "We stayed in the Peacock Condo for three weeks this winter (Jan. 26th. to Feb.15th. 2013) This condo is nicely upgraded, spotlessly clean and very well stocked. Tom was a great host and a pleasure to meet. He took care of the booking and arrival details promptly and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. This condo in the Marine Surf is close to The Bus stop, restaurants, the beach and everything that Waikiki has to offer! We will definitely plan on staying here again! Mahalo Nui Loa Tom!"   We had such a great holiday. We would like to say thank you for the rental of your condo. Everything was great, the condo was decorated very nice. Plenty of room for the four of us. The free parking and internet were great as well. Great location close to all the wonderful shopping, dining and beaches. We could not have found a more affordable condo that had everything we needed and more. Thank both you and Kelly for making this such an easy experience. You were both great to deal with and very helpful. We would recommend your condo to anyone looking for a great deal at a great location without having to pay a huge price.

  This was a GREAT location to do all the downwind things....eat, shop, catch a bus, get picked up for excursions, and best of all SWIM! We booked a week and Tom the owner of the studio provided transportation one way airport to Marine Surf...which is about 25-35.00 per person saved. Although we did not cook,..everything from stove/ oven to plates, silverware, pots pans for you to cook up a meal.....fridge and microwave. Wifi for free and I think all phone calls from the studio free as well. Oh and, one free parking spot ! That is rare for downtown! Tom makes it possible for you to stay on Oahu home away from home! Being on the end unit we caught a ton of breezes while propping the door open a bit and opening the Lani .....oh my goodness.....the cross breezes were WONDERFUL! You can turn the air off, stay out for the day, come back, open the door and Lani, and......wha~la it is comfortable! Get a 4 day bus pass for $25.00 at an ABC store and get on get off as many times you want for 4 days in a row....and catch the bus right around the corner. A new Ross Dress for Less is just 40 steps fom door to door. We highly recommend Tom's studio for your next vacation! We will stay here agin someday!   Hi Tom: I wanted to let you know how happy we were in your Waikiki Place condo when we came to Oahu for my daughter's wedding in July. Check-in was a breeze, and the room was more than we could have hoped for. In addition to the kitchen having everything we needed, there was lots of storage for our clothing and belongings. You thought of virtually everything! It was very clean and quiet. We loved the location, close to the beach, shopping and the grocery store. And free parking! We couldn't have asked for more. We definitely will contact you the next time we come, and will continue to give your name to all our friends who travel to Waikiki! Thanks again so much for helping make our trip special! Karen

  My family loved staying at Waikiki Place, as a family of 3 we loved the convenience and location of this studio. We enjoyed breakfast on the lenai each morning, then latte from starbucks-right out front! We were within 1 minute walk to the Kalakaua Drive with all the amazing shops, many ABC stores for groceries, high end shopping, restaurants and the zoo. A family membership at the zoo was only 34 dollars a year!, and we used it everyday to start our amazing day in Honolulu. Also the condo is 5 minute walk to the beach, with beach towels, chairs and boogie boards all ready for your use. We travelled a long way from Nova Scotia and had a couple of delays, and Tom kept in touch with us by text and email. When we arrived we rented a vehicle and called Tom, and he was still waiting for us late into the night. He met us at the condo, and showed us our free parking spot and to the room and amenities. The room itself was very clean and modern, with high end finishes. My son being 12 really enjoyed the free internet and docking station for his ipod. Very pleasantly surprised! We had nothing but an amazing time and Tom was amazing to deal with. The condo’s security was also a great benefit and we felt very safe. We cannot wait to return!!!   We stayed for one week in the Bahama Suite in Waikiki Place. It was absolutely amazing. This is the best deal out there. The listing description was very accurate and Tom, the owner, was very helpful in assisting us along the way. He provided excellent customer service. The location is spectacular, just one block of the main strip in Waikiki. As we rented a car to tour the island, having a free parking spot was also very helpful. The property was extremely clean and included a kitchen, which allowed us to make breakfast before heading out for the day. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family.

  This is a 400+ sq ft Studio located in Waikiki. The description and photos are very accurate, The location is outstanding. Tom and Kelly were nice, helpful, business-like.Near the beach, but even better, near a good selection of really good eating choices. Marakumi Udon, one block away is terrific and really cheap. The pluses include a full compact kitchen, WiFi, included parking, excellent building security, and nice decor. We thought a little more care needed to be taken with cleaning and we were annoyed that there were several burned-out light bulbs. Overall a solid B. We would definitely stay there again and have no reservations in recommending this to others.

Our goal is to make sure all of our guests have a wonderful Waikiki Experience at a reasonable cost. At check in, we tell all of our guests to call us if they have any issues at all and point out in the studios manual how to get a hold of us. We wish you would have taken us up on that offer so we could have touched up the minor cleaning issue you noted and to replace the light bulb that burnt out. It would have improved your Waikiki Experience and we would not have minded at all. We do everything within our power to make sure that Waikiki Place.is the place to be in Waikiki !! We look forward to your next visit with us.

  We stayed at the Bahama for 3 nights. What a mistake, we should've have stayed longer. As soon as we walked into the Bahama, we noticed it was very clean, well maintained and well stocked for our stay. With the free parking, this room can't be beat. The view from the lanai was beautiful ,Also knowing the fact that we are in Hawaii and not in New Jersey. Being in the middle of Waikiki, everything is walking distance, It's about a block or two from the ocean. But there are buses and trolleys if you need to sightsee Honolulu or go shopping at the mall. Tom and Kelly was very easy to work with, If there were any questions or concerns. I feel confident that they will take good care of us. If we ever go back, we will not look anywhere else and stay at the Bahama again !! Mahalo Craig & Kelly

  We stayed four days in the studio "Bahamas" in August 2011. We were 2 adults and 2 children. We had a good reception with the cleaning lady Kerry how has shown us the parking space and the unit. The studio was clean when we arrived. We had a great time in the studio and the only complaint I have was not having two beach towels. We made a request to have two more towels, but did no receive them...but on the other hand Tom came down with 10 minutes notice to rescue my passport from the locked studio in time to catch our airport shuttle! We had great time and are satisfied with our choice. Sebastien D., Laval, Canada
