My family and I just returned from a trip to Washington, DC where we stayed in this home. The location was fantastic as it is in a very nice neighborhood and a very short walk to the Metro and the Zoo. Steve the owner was also able to get us a street parking permit for the week as we had driven into the city. The house was very clean. It is a basement apartment which I wish I knew ahead of time. The only thing I would tell you is that even though bed linens are included, there were only 4 towels and 1 dish towel. We did go buy another dish towel and also a bath mat so that the floor didn't get soaking wet. The apartment does have plenty of dishes, glasses and silverware, however, very minimal on kitchen gadget and serving pieces. We did eat in the apartment several times and were able to make due, but would have brought some of our own stuff if I knew it was sparsely the kitchen was set up. Overall though it was a wonderful experience and was a perfect hub for us to get around the city and see everything. I would recommend this apartment
Recommended for:Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
