Race Meet & Summer Openings Best 5BR/3BA Home on Lake Hamilton
Year Purchased: 2007
Why the Owner Chose Hot Springs
I built this home on Lake Hamilton after searching for a location that is close to all the attractions Hot Spring's has to offer yet is quiet and peaceful and right on the water's edge. Most of my favorite restaurants are within a mile of the home and many are accessable by boat from the dock in front of the home.
The Unique Benefits at this House
This home is so unique because it is built and furnished with all the amenities of a custom home and has a floor plan that is perfect for large families or family reunions. My family loves to gather here for special occasions because it is close to town and also is located in a great area on Lake Hamilton.
Owner's Map of Hot Springs
I am a third generation builder and developer of Messersmith & Son, the oldest family owned residential contractor in Hot Springs, developing subdivisions and custom homes since 1954. I've traveled throughout the country and Hot Springs is one of the best family vacation destinations.

We loved it!

The tastefully furnished, immaculate 5 bedroom house was perfect for this three generation family of 4 couples and 2 teens. The space and flow is excellent with opportunity for gathering and privacy at the same time (two had to study) . The kitchen is well stocked and Jeff is an attentive host, making sure you have everything you need. Trips to the Arlington Hotel provided spa treatments and great food and the Holiday light display at Garvan Woodland Gardens was outstanding. I can’t wait to go again.
Owner response:Thank you Delora for the review of your stay at my Lake Hamilton home. It is very rewarding to have families such as yours enjoy their stay at Chesapeake Cove while visiting Hot Springs. I am looking foward to seeing you again soon, Thanks again, Jeff.

We held our first annual Marriage retreat here: 5 couples. Stayed for 4 days/3 nights. THE HOUSE IS AMAZING! Pictures actually do not do justice for the beauty of the home and scenery/landscape. The lake was calming and a great view from both outside decks. The upper bath was very nice with a jacuzzi tub and great separate shower. Downstairs has it's own living area and small kitchenette. We WILL DEFINITELY do a repeat this year!!

I loved everything about this rental. The house is beautiful inside and out. We had 4 families in this house. 8 adults and 6 children. Every couple had their own room and 4 of the children slept on blow up matresses in the lower living room. Plenty of together time space and alone space. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Outside, the deck and boat slip are very close to the back of the house. The cove was not busy with traffic and the children were able to swim without worry. The location of the cove to the big part of the lake was perfect. We did not have to go a long way to do our tubing, wakeboarding, launching, gas, etc..The owner, Jeff, was extremely nice and will answer any questions you may have. I would definitly recommend this home to anyone and will be renting it myself in the future.

Our stay was awesome at this vacation rental. It was a total of 19 of us, so we rented 2 houses. The 3 floor levels made everyone have their own space. All the appliances were new including the house itself. If you're looking for a new and up to date rental, on the lake, 5 minutes away from all the good stuff, tons of privacy, then this is the place for you. We had 7 kids in our group, they especially loved fishing off the dock, the men enjoyed using the bar-b-q out on the lower deck, and the ladies enjoyed hanging out in the modern kitchen just chit chatting! Mr. Jeff was professional and courteous. All 19 would definitely recommend to anyone. Thanks Mr. Jeff.

Well-appointed home. The floor plan allows for privacy on all three levels, yet keeps everyone together at the same time. Close to great local restaurants (Sam's Pizza is a kick and is a very short walk away) as well as the big-box chains. I would recommend to families with crawling kids to consider bringing safety gates, as the indoor stairs are an unavoidable feature. We brought two and they worked perfectly. Jeff is great...a man you can trust. Excellent communication and professionalism. I would stay again and hope to get the opportunity.

Jeff - We loved having all three houses at Chesapeake Cove for our daughter's wedding celebration. Our family and friends loved the houses, sitting on the porches and docks, going out in the boat, and all being together for the celebration. The location and space was perfect. Thanks for everything.

We had a family reunion on this property. It was the perfect setup for 3 families--3 levels with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. The home was amazing. Everything was first class. Having a boat dock with access to Lake Hamilton was a definite plus--we used it every day. The owner is on the property almost everyday, so he is available for questions about Hot Springs or just enjoyable conversation. We will definitely go back to this place the next time our family goes to Hot Springs.

Surprising my mom with an 80th birthday celebration turned perfect at this rental home! Having 2 living areas,1 1/2 kitchens,5 bedrooms, and 3 baths on the lake with our own boat dock made our family reunion a success; and no one had to clean their home before or after a 3 night stay. The kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable, the parking was sufficient, and the 3 levels worked really well for us. Jeff was so helpful and eager to make our stay pleasant. The location made getting to and from shopping easy and also easy for out of town family members to locate. We had a phtographer come early one morning for photos outside on the beautiful landscaped yard and the lighting and colors worked so well for her. She was able to get on the 2nd floor balcony and get great shots of us below. Our family would hightly recommend this lovely home to others and we all hope to come back next year. Family members were from St. Louis, Austin, Houston, Jonesboro, Little Rock, and Arkadelphia. So you see, meeting here worked great for us. Thank you Jeff for allowing us to relax and feel at home on Cheaspeake Cove for this special occasion. Karen
Owner response:Karen, thanks for the wonderful review. I am so glad the surprise for your mother went well. I am also happy that the accommodations worked so well for the rest of your family. It was such a pleasure to host such a fantastic family, we value the opportunity of providing lasting family memories. We hope to see you again in the future.

Our family of 11, ranging in age from 60 to 2, thoroughly enjoyed the five bedroom house at 121 Chesapeake Cove! The house was a perfect size and had everything we needed...the two separate living areas complete with tvs allowed the kids to watch Sponge Bob and the adults to catch up in peace. Very relaxing and restful -- the upstairs covered porch was a great place for breakfast -- cool and shaded! The pictures accurately reflect the appearance and amenities of the house. Everything was clean and the washer and dryer came in handy. We enjoyed Sam's Pizza and the Italian Villa for Italian food! Take a book, a boat, a few friends or your family and enjoy! Jeff, the owner, was great to work with.

Our group of 6 ladies thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the townhouse. We were pleased with all the bedrooms and loved the open kitchen/living arrangement. It was a pleasure meeting the owner, Jeff. He was so helpful showing us around and making sure we were comfortable. It's a great property and in the perfect location. We're looking forward to returning next year. Thanks Jeff.
