  What a gorgeous home! Our first impression was that we had just climbed Mt. Ranier; however, the quiet neighborhood was well worth it. Beautiful views of the surrounding hillsides and sunsets behind them. The house was perfect and comfortable for the whole family, from toddler to grandparents. Very clean, well appointed, and sweet backyard. I knew from the reviews that it would be great, but WOW what a kitchen-- and it convinced my husband that we really DO need a bigger kitchen in our own home. We loved the island wine fridge. Saw two plays, but we didn't walk to the theater, although we could have. My husband did walk up to Lithia Park and then down to town. Great hiking. Next time, we'll have to bring the mountain bikes. Looking forward to staying at the Jennifer House again next year!

  Our family came to Ashland for our son's wedding. The home was ideal for us. It is beautifully appointed and all our needs were met. We would heartily recommend this home to those who love home comforts and beautiful settings.

  House is exactly as advertised. Very clean and well appointed. You could run a catering business from the kitchen -- a shame we went out to eat. We enjoyed the patio and the living room for visiting. We walked to town and to the theater. Ashland was beastly hot -- thank goodness for the air conditioning.

  We found the home luxurious, spotlessly clean and very well outfitted. It had everything we needed. The outdoor area was lovely and very quiet, with occasional barking from neighbors dogs. As a cook, I loved the kitchen with it's modern appliances. I could have hosted dinner parties out of it--no gadget was missing. I did have a little trouble with the coffee maker trying to used already ground coffee. I recommend bringing along beans since it will grind them and make your coffee. There was a huge flat sceen tv and an excellent library of DVDs and VCRs, but the remotes were so complex we couldn't watch movies. I recommended to the owner that she provide a simple instruction card with step by step points on how to set up a movie. This property is for folks who like to drive to the theaters since it's an uphill walk of about 20 minutes coming back from Main Street. It's only a few minutes by car.

  Four of us (2 couples) found the Jennifer House to be just perfect for our stay in Ashland. We have been coming up to Ashland for over 30 years and this was probably the best equipped house ever. It is a cook's delight. We walked to town and to the plays, and felt the walk back up the hills helped us excercise off our dinners! Above the house are trails to wonderful walks above the town. It was a quiet and comfortable place to stay, with plenty of rooms and privacy for several couples. It is very clean and very well maintained, inside and out. We'll be back!

  This home is nestled up in the hills of Ashland, where you can start the day welcoming the sun and deer as you sip coffee on the front deck. There is good access to sevaral trails leading down to Ashland through the neighborhood or through the park ~ making each run/walk an adventure. The hills are quite steep so driving to and from town will likely be preferred by all but the hardy or exercise-minded. One consideration for elderly or disabled visitors is that there are stairs leading up to the 1970's-era home, as well as a step-down living room. The hosts have given thoughtful attention to detail from luxurious bed linens to a well-stocked kitchen, which we thoroughly enjoyed after stocking up at the Ashland farmer's market.
