Beach Bound is located in the very popular Gulf Place Beach Community which is in the heart of "The Beaches of South Walton". Gulf Place is known for our 3 pools (2 heated), hot tub, tennis courts, shuffle board, basketball court, and outdoor amphitheater that host local musicians and festivals. This area is also great for a game of football or Frisbee.
We also have shopping, a multitude of dining, a local artist kiosk area, a day spa, pharmacy, beach bar, an upscale wine bar, and an ice cream shop on the property. A biking and walking trail winds through the property and provides great exercise. Gulf Place has three private entrances to the beach and the beach along this stretch of 30-A is known for the lovely surf and sugar white sand. You can sun, rest under an umbrella, or stroll the beach. Just enjoy!

Beach Bound is a one bedroom, 1 1/2 bath that is perfect for a romantic getaway or the two bunk beds make it a great condo for the small family vacation. The condo has just gone through a complete remodel with new tile in the bath and kitchen floor and backsplash. New carpet in the bedroom and family room makes this condo very comfortable and cozy. You enter Beach Bound on light beechwood flooring so you know you have arrived at the beach! We have new paint, cabinets, ceiling, crown molding and all this makes Beach Bound perfect. New furnishing, linens, and decor all feature a beach cottage theme with an upscale flavor. Beach Bound is light and bright and you definitely know you are at the beach surrounded by the lovely decor.
The bedroom is a private, enclosed room featuring a bright blue and green color pallet. The bedroom is open to a full bath that hosts a blue shell theme and has a pocket door that open onto a half bath. This way there is privacy for two baths however it can also serve as his and her vanity areas. The 1/2 bath is breezy and fresh with a shell theme with accents of blue and green. The 1/2 bath also opens to the hallway.
The family room gives great space with a large L shape sofa which is great for relaxing while watching a DVD on the flat screen TV or just taking an afternoon nap. The extra large L provide space for the whole family or great for cuddling on a couple getaway. If you like games, our large coffee table is perfect for playing...and we even provide popular games. Don't forget to say Hi to our condo mascot "Bernie the Fish". He swims high above the sofa and has been known to sneak a few sips of a frozen drink or a yummy snack...so beware. The family room offers double French doors leading onto the covered balcony. This space has a gulf view and is wonderful no matter what the weather. The balcony is private and offers comfortable chairs and table for relaxing and listening to the sound of the surf.
The kitchen is open and provides a large table height bar that seats four. We provide all small appliances, cookware, flatware and new dishes to make your stay easy. We make sure you have the comforts of home only with a gulf view!!
We provide beach towels, toys, 4 chairs, and two umbrellas to keep your travel light. We even have a cooler and plastic trays for your drinks and snacks at the beach. Beach Bound has a large stackable washer and dryer so those wet suits and towels are an easy clean up.
Minutes to shopping at the famous Silver Sands Outlet Mall, local beach stores, and only a few miles to upscale shopping of Destin Commons and the Shops of San Destin and Grand Blvd. You will be just a short drive from Baytown Wharf which host shopping, dining, outdoor movies, concerts, and special events. Mini golf, go carts, amusement park, and a water park are just a short drive for the kids and kids at heart. Beach Bound is also conveniently located to the famous Seaside Community. Seaside has unique beachside dining, shopping, and a lovely Old Florida feel.
For the golfer, this is your vacation destination. Santa Rosa Beach and Golf Club is less than 1/4 mile and offers a great course with lovely beach front dining. Other courses include: Seascape Resort which has 13 water hazards that pose a challenge for any golfer. Regatta Bay is an 18 hole course and is known for its meticulously maintained grounds and pristine lakes and views. This is only a few of the 25+ courses in this area.
If fishing is your game, you are about to visit "the world's luckiest fishing village". Whether you select a private charter or group fishing boat, you will come home happy. Many of the boats have mates aboard that will help you with your fishing and clean the catch at the end of the trip. The area is known for blue marlin, cobia, and red snapper. Speckled trout and flounder are caught on the bayside. King mackerel, redfish, and Spanish mackerel are always in the area. If the boat is not your preference, just grab your spinning real and fish off the beach. Pompano is caught along the shoreline in South Walton. For the deep sea fisherman looking for a trophy fish, go out about 60 miles and marlin both blue and white, are waiting to go home with you.

Beach Bound is different from other condos in the fact that it is personally and professionally managed. We take special effort to go above and beyond for our visitors. You arrive to a goodie basket and our condos are cleaned by a small private company which makes a major difference. We do not do a wipe down but rather a true clean. We get wonderful feedback from guests on our cleaning service. Additionally, we provide all the comforts of home, small appliances, kitchen gadgets, and lots of dish towels. Our linens are updated frequently to keep them fresh, matching, and looking and feeling good. We provide beach chairs, towels, toys, and umbrella for our guests and even a directory for local information on events and fun things to do. We strive to provide an experience so you will want to get Beach Bound again and again.

We started ND Beach Properties in 2003 with the purchase of a gulf front townhouse in Santa Rosa Beach Florida. Named Beach Break, this was a weekend get away from our hectic life in Atlanta. We then purchased several beach Condos in Longboat Key, Florida. These units required a complete remodeling to bring them to date and focus on the beach lifestyle. Beach Bliss 1 and Beach Blast were popular units and we found visitors returning year after year for vacation. We have also built new homes for investment/sale in the Tampa Bay/Sarasota Florida area. We then returned to the Panhandle with the purchase of Beach 'Brella. This was a big remodel project which basically took the unit down to the studs! This large condo was popular with families and we enjoyed it personally (when not rented) while living full time in this area. We then purchased a 1 bedroom condo at Gulf Place in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. This was a special buy for us because the condo was just across the street from where we were married. Beach Bliss 2 was know for its relaxing decor and romantic feel. Our latest remodel is our biggest condo project to date. Beach Bound was an outdated unit and we stripped in down to the studs, added a 1/2 bath, removed popcorn ceiling...what a mess! Beach Bound is all new....carpet, wood floor, tile, cabinets, paint, woodwork, bathrooms, furniture, and decor. The theme is a tribute to the sea life we love and the bright blue and green color pallet certainly makes you happy and know you are at the beach. Our greatest joy is having customers return to our condos year after year and also follow us to new properties. We buy, remodel, sell, rent, market, and manage beach condos. We have a wonderful team of handymen and cleaning experts to keep our condos working well and looking great for every stay.

This condo is top notch. Frankly, the pictures don't do it justice. It was beautifully decorated and extremely well stocked. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Wonderful view on the Gulf, easy quick access to the beach, and the pool is right downstairs. This condo is perfect for a couple looking to get away for a romantic week/weekend together.
Recommended for:Age 55+, romantic getaway.

This was the perfect condo for our family of three. The condo was beautifully decorated and very clean. I was very impressed that the owner provided beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys and plenty of nice beach towels. There was also a basket full of yummy snacks waiting for us when we arrived. The condo has a new front load washer and dryer that we used daily (hate to go home with dirty laundry :). The pool and hot tub were very nice and well maintained and the beach is just a short walk away. We would definitely recommend this condo and hope to stay here again some day!

This is a great condo for couples or small families! It's in a super location. It's not as busy and crowded as Seaside/Watercolor, yet you can get to those places in about 10 minutes. The condo is immaculate. Donna has thought of every comfort of home, and her sense of style and decorating is tops! The placement of the condo within the property is great too. The balcony of the condo overlooks the pool, and it's a quick walk to the beach (3-5 minutes). The condo has a wonderful, fully equipped kitchen, making it easy to whip up a meal if you choose. There are also MANY wonderful restaurants closeby. You can't go wrong with this place. This is our 2nd time to rent a condo from Donna, and we look forward to visiting this property again!

It's obviously well-cared for by the owner and pleasantly decorated for a vacation spot. A kind welcome basket with goodies and a helpful binder full of info and coupons were provided. The condo was as promised. It wasn't very crowded at the facility when we were there; it wasn't until the end of our stay when we noticed the parking lot beginning to fill up more. So, we had the perk of less wait times at restaurants and more space to ourselves at the pool and beach. This condo is on the second floor near the elevator and over the pool. I didn't notice any noise from the elevator/stairs (which is good since the BR window is right there). It was sometimes a bit loud sitting out on our balcony when people were at the pool, but that can be a positive for families with kids, as parents can keep an easy eye on them. Area - The walk to the beach was simple and quick. Through the pool and across 30A, there's a private beach access. We were able to walk back and forth between the condo and beach quickly, easily and safely. The beach was beautiful. Gulf Place offers bike rental, food/drink, shopping, ice cream, and a few artist booths. With the beach and all the other little towns nearby, you won't want to spend your whole vacation on site, but it's centrally located and a nice area for "home base." For 1st time visitors: All the different areas and along 30A are so close to each other. We were in town for a wedding and chose Gulf Place because we were trying to be near the wedding on Santa Rosa Beach. Most any of the areas along 30A are easily accessible. We rented bikes and rode alone 30A toward Seaside and Grayton Beach (great day trips!), but chose to drive the distance to Rosemary Beach. Plus - a drive to Destin is also easy and we spend a couple days there. We recommend: biking 30A, Eden State Park, Broken Egg Cafe and Red Bar (Greyton), Cafe 30A, Thursday nights at the Wine Bar, and sitting on the pavilion on Seaside Beach. Pros: Good central location along 30A, great access to beautiful beach, well-maintained condo Con: Worst part of vacation was that the condo itself seems to have thin walls. This is a complaint more about the building than this particular condo, but often times during our stay we heard running, pounding, water running and other noises from the condos around us. We recommend this area highly and enjoyed Beach Bound; Donna was helpful in everything we needed.

This condo is the perfect size and location for a small, quiet, comfortable getaway. It was beautifully decorated with loads of storage. A five minute walk had us at the beach and having chairs/beach toys available for use really helped out with freeing up trunk space in the car. We enjoyed having the pool so close for relaxing swims in the evening. The balcony looked down directly over the pool. I was amazed at how clean and comfortable the rental was - this condo truly felt like home away from home. The owner was easy to work with and quick to respond. I would definitely recommend this rental and I plan on renting again in the future.

"We've been visiting Santa Rosa Beach for several years and the owner we previous rented from sold her condo so we were on the hunt for a replacement. After finding Beach Bound online we contacted Donna who was so great to work with and we became excited for our trip. Our arrival did not disappoint. The condo was immaculate and cute to boot. A sweet welcome basket of goodies greeted us along with a nice note. The decor was beachy and fun and we really loved the sectional couch to lounge on after a day of fun. Every thing we needed was provided and then some. Beach Bound far exceeded our expectations and we are happy to have found a new "home" away from home. We'll definitely be returning to Beach Bound and highly recommend it if you are seeking a 30A retreat"
