Everyone loves Horse Ranch, an area of luxury homes, and pristine meadows with horses grazing in the summer.
In the winter, world class skiing, downhill and cross country in the magical area of Snowmass-Aspen. You have the option of skiing at 4 mountains all with their own personalities and each suited to meet most sking abilities.
If you are not a skier, the Village of Snowmass and a short ride to Aspen will entertain you with wonderful restaurants and unique shops. The Aspen Theater, Wheeler Opera House, John Denver Park, I could go on and on!
The winter is a popular time to enjoy the area but summer is amaziing! The well marked hiking and biking trails, the sunsets, the mountain flowers and fresh air. I feel so grateful to get to be here, you will feel the same.
Snowmass-Aspen will mesmorize you and you will want to return year after year.
Horse Ranch is a very quite area of homes with wonderful views and access to the Snowmass Club, with golf and tennis in the summer. Cross country skiing in the winter. It's own athletic club and a very welcoming family type atmosphere. There is also the Snowmass Recreation Center at the entrance of the Snowmass Rodeo area. Complete with a skateboard park, tennis, basketball courts and great pool for small children and adults. The rodeo runs every summer on Wednesday evenings. Your children will love it!
The home has a very open floor plan with full kitchen and living,dining, area's all open to be able to enjoy your family in one area and never miss what is going on.
The Master Bedroom and bath with large closet will be more than comfortable with privacy from the two bedrooms and media room on the lowest level. Across the hall from the Master is a very comfortable bedroom which could be used as a office or a bedroom for child, or couple. It has it's own bathroom with shower, as all the bathrooms do.
The lower lever complete with large flat screen and games for the kids. The bedroom can be used for a kids bunk room or is as large and complete as a Master Bedroom for two adults.
The center media room will entertain your family and guests with movie night and the comfort of large sofa's and a massage chair. You can wind down after a day of skiing or biking the beautiful Rio-Grande Trail with a stop at Woddy Creek Tavern.

About the owner: I am a very lucky mother of 3 son's . I LOVE Snowmass and Aspen and have been coming here for 25 years. I hope to ski until the day I die and hoping that won't happen for a very long time!!!
Why the Owner Chose Pitkin:
We had vacationed here for quite a few years. It was a families dream to have been able to spend our summers here, and as often as we could get here in the winter with our children. As a family skiing was a great way of having a sport we could all do together.
The summers ended up being even more amazing. There is a saying around here that people come for the winters but stay for the summers. It is very true.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
I enjoy the beautiful scenary of course and there is so much to do. Often, just enjoying the house and the quiet is a favorite. It has always been a place to be as busy as you would like or as lazy.
