We invite you to come to Pine Island. The last unspoiled, Old Style Florida island. It is a unique place , part old fishing village with a growing artist community. Abundant out door activities beside great fishing in Charlotte Harbour, Pine Island Sound, even leisurely trolling the canal waters or fishing right off the backyard dock.
Minutes away from Boca Grande pass and the Gulf of Mexico. Rent a boat or take a ferry to magnificent Cayo Costa, a mostly uninhabited Island with fantastic beaches and lots of privacy.
It also has State camping facilities for the adventurous. Kayaking and rowing are also popular attractions. Bird watching, manatee sightings are spectacular. The occasional Dolphin will travel down the canal to be seen from the backyard.
My house is located in Bokeelia on the north end of Pine Island giving us the fastest and direct route to the Gulf. The backyard has a deck for dinners, cocktails, or just quiet contemplation, looking out over the canal and lagoon. Gas BBQ available.
The kitchen is a galley kitchen that affords a view of the water. The bathroom has a walk in shower, two bedrooms and if needed a pull out sofa in the main living room. The property is full of native vegetation, palm trees and tropical fruit trees.
Our Island boasts many diverse restaurants all close since the Island is 17 miles long and about 3 miles wide. All natives are friendly! There is also a fish cleaning station for your daily catch. A place that must be experienced, like no other.
