This property is located on three and one half private, wooded acres with 160 feet of shoreline on Lake Michigan. Situated on Paradise Bay, one can see the ferry boats coming to and from the island, as well as yachts, sailboats and fishing trawlers.
The island has 7 inland lakes, two of which are very good for fishing. Beaver Island is 6 miles wide and 13 miles long encompassing 58 square miles. It is surrounded by 7 other islands.
The ferry to the mainland ( Charlevoix ) takes two and one half hours both directions. Twenty minute flights are available to the mainland 7 days a week. The island has 2 airports. There are also flights available to and from Traverse City. Rental cars, taxis, electric vehicles, scooters and bicycles are available.
The village of St. James on Paradise Bay has a beautiful sandy public swimming beach. The North side of the island has a two mile long sandy, public beach. A library, churches, marinas, taverns, motels and campgrounds are available. The University of Michigan and Central Michigan University have summer activities on the island.

- Off the kitchen is a sunroom with a beautiful bar made of a piece of four inch ship hull from Lake Michigan. A deck wraps around about seventy-five percent of the house.
