At the end of a private road, Red Head Beach House enjoys the best of both worlds: the lake frontage is ideal for swimming, canoeing and kayaking while the beach is perfect for walking, beach combing and relaxing. As the only house on the beach, you are bound to be able to enjoy a quiet early morning walk.
Conscious of the stunning views, this “California Ranch” style home drinks in ocean views from almost every room. Red Head Beach House features a large central great room with a wood fireplace, comfortable furnishings; floor to ceiling windows and patio doors leading to the full-length deck. Adjacent to the central living room is a fully equipped kitchen, separate office and laundry nook. At either end of the house is a queen size bedroom each with plenty of closet space, and sliding patio doors to the ocean view deck. Each bedroom has a three-piece bathroom at its door. The lower level has a third queen size bedroom adjacent to an exercise and entertainment room featuring an infrared sauna, a Foosball Table, StairMaster, bench press, weights and “body opponent” punching bag.
From the deck, the house enjoys unobstructed views of the lake and the ocean. A boardwalk connecting the deck to the dock, beach chairs and a BBQ complete the perfect picture. Enjoy stunning sunrises, unspoiled scenery and the abundance of wildlife that drop by for a visit.
So pack your suitcases and enjoy secluded living and the sense of total privacy, peace and quiet. Just like a dream!
Please note that Red Head Beach is not a private beach and that there is a public access path at the other end of the beach.

Red Head Beach House is located in the quiet community of Atlantic, approximately 25 km to Shelburne with its restaurants, museums, grocery stores and other amenities. Red Head Beach is a 300 meter walk from the property; Roseway Beach and Carleton Village Beach are both approximately 10km away. It is an hour to the ferry terminal at Yarmouth; the airport is 2.5 hours and Halifax an easy 2-hour drive.
