This luxury, 1-bedroom, fully air-conditioned penthouse is situated in a stunning landscape where the desert meets the white sand and turquoise waters of the Sea of Cortez.
This romantic atmosphere is set in a secluded gated community with tennis courts, an adults only Beach club, access to Championship Golf Course - Cabo Real, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. The only thing between your perfect view of the sea and sand is your pool, or perhaps you would prefer the 2 swim-up bar pools, one right on the sand.
The Condo has marble floors, washer/dryer, 15 ft. cathedral ceilings, terrace and a kitchenette. Be lulled to sleep by the rhythm of gently washing waves, and awaken to the crystal clear glorious view of the sea.
The 10-room Spa, Chakra, provides full service spa treatments and the fitness center is fully equipped. There are 2 restaurants and 1 bar in this community, as well as a mesquite grill on the beach...all for you.

a day at the condo: get up at dark and make your way down to the beach, coffee thermos in hand, and watch the whales spy hop and breach while the sun rises on another very good day. Breakfast is coffee , mangos and yogurt on the balcony, then you must go for a snorkel up the beach, watch the whales while you sit and read...maybe a brunch in Todas Santos at Hotel California. Post siesta: salsa, chips and pacifico beer on the balcony thanks to MEGA. In the evening: Thursday art walk in San Jose del Cabo, mezcal at the bar at Casa de Natalia. this vacation get away is a lovely way to escape winter and relax. At night you can hear the waves and watch the moon. We would go back, in fact, can't stop thinking about the week.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

My husband and I had 5 nights at Perla 301 in December 2012. Based on pictures and comments, we expected nice accomodations; our expectations were exceeded. The view is postcard quality, the bed is comfortable and the telephone a bonus. Ashley, the owner, and Diana, the property manager were delightful , accommodating and helpful re any questions or potential problems that we presented to them. We hope to return 2-3 times per year. One word of caution. If you go to the restaurant at Casa del Mar, request the menu with the prices.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.

This was my second stay in this beautiful unit and resort. The unit is located at the eastern end of the property with early morning sun on the balcony and very quiet. This year I did three days of the "all inclusive" daily rate for the three restaurants on the property and it was well worth it. I was traveling alone so it was nice to be able to be at the ocean front pool. The food and service were fantastic. This has to be one of the best vacation values I have found. Rarely are things too good to be true but I think this fills the bill. Enjoy the whales and the diving pelicans from the sand chairs included in the unit right on the beach.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.

My husband and I rented La Perla 301 for 2 weeks. It was one of our best travel experiences to date. The owner, the manager, the groundskeepers, the driver to and from the airport all were so professional and friendly. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful "home away from home," this is it. The management had food from our prearranged grocery list already in the frig when we got there, as we ate most of our meals in the condo.The fresh fish and seafood were wonderful cooked on the grill. We had everything we could possibly want or need--frig, stove, washer/dryer, TV, internet access, CD player. We only had to walk down the stairs or take the elevator to get to the pool, and the beach was just beyond. The 3rd floor view was amazing day and night. We met some wonderful people who shared our idea of a vacation. It was a truly relaxing and memorable time!Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, age 55+.
