This cabin is ideal for a couple to have a nice romantic retreat! It has a queen size bed in bedroom, and a sofa that makes into another queen size bed in den. It has a cozy fireplace for those cold winter nights, and a large size deck to be able to have a nice meal, and a glass of wine, while watching the squirrels play, and listening to the birds chirp.
This cabin is a NON-SMOKING cabin for those who are allergic to cigarettes.
The cabin is in a great quiet wooded location. Close to everything from the Ski Resorts, golf, Starbucks Coffee, K-Mart, Grocery stores, Movies, Restaurants, village, Lake, and so much more! The open forest is just up the street walking distance from the cabin to beautiful hiking trails.
Roads are well maintained in winter making it easy to get to the cabin. You can park on the driveway in front of the cabin, and bring your suitcases right in, and not have to climb a bunch of stairs.

Why the Owner Chose Lower Moonridge
We love this area so much we bought two cabins in the same area. It is close to everything from the lifts,zoo,golf,hiking,lake,restaurants,stores,village,etc.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
We have been owner's of this cabin for 4 years. We love Big Bear very much because when you are there you feel like you are so far away from the city life, and it is a place where you can just relax, and get rid of all the stress of work.
We like this cabin because it's not too big - yet it's big enough for our family of four to get away, and have a great time. Also, we wanted it to be in a area with well maintain roads making it safe to get to in the winter.
This is how close you are to golf/ driving range, the ski lifts,mountain biking, and the zoo.They are all located in the same area walking distance to each other. From the cabin it's less than a mile.
This is the village that has stores, movies, restaurants, bowling,etc. It is a about 2 1/2 mile from the cabin.
It's only about 1 mile from the cabin to get to all these store, and lots more shopping in the same area.
This hiking trail is just up the street from the cabin that you can walk to that opens up to beautiful trails.The street it's off of is Willow Ave. and the cross street is Poplar St.
Snow Summit has skiing in the winter/mountain biking when the snow melts.You can go on the Sky chair lift with or without your bike, and explore the top of the mountain at 11,500 Ft.BBQ food at top.
YOU CAN WALK TO BEAR BELLY DELI FOR AN OUTSTANDING SANDWICH, AND VISIT THE SHOPS FROM THE CABIN. IT'S ABOUT 1-2 BLOCKS AWAY FROM THE CABIN ON MOONRIDGE RD.
FROM THE CABIN IT'S EASY TO GET TO SNOW SUMMIT. GO TO ELM ST.MAKE A LEFT-GO TO SWITZERLAND DR. MAKE A RIGHT STAY ON UNTIL YOU RUN INTO SNOW SUMMIT.

MY HUSBAND AND I BOUGHT OUR FIRST CABIN OVER 25 YEARS AGO, AND HAVE BEEN COMING TO BIG BEAR FOR A GETAWAY EVER SINCE. WE SOLD OUR FIRST CABIN ABOUT 7 YEARS AGO, AND MISSED IT SO MUCH WE BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE IN THE SAME AREA FOUR YEARS AGO.
WE HAVE TWO WONDERFUL BOYS THAT LOVE TO COME AND ENJOY BIG BEAR WITH US.
