We had the pleasure of staying in this beautifully decorated, well-appointed home for our family vacation. We had a group of 12 adults and 2 kids and we were very comfortable. The adults all love to cook and between the beautiful kitchen and large grill, we were able to prepare fabulous dinners. No detail is spared here. Every bedroom was perfectly decorated and everyone got a restful night's sleep. Not to mention poolside! We would spend our early mornings at the beach and come back to the pool to further unwind. It was so dreamy! I really can't say enough about this home. By far THE BEST family vacation we have ever had!

If you are in need of a place to leave everything behind, this 5 star home is the place you want to be. My wife, 2 elderly parents, another couple and I, just spent 4 glorious days in Jack and Carol’s home. Their house is more than a house. It feels like a home. All the comforts of home but with the beauty and elegance of a well kept estate. The overall décor of this home is eclectic and beautifully decorated as one would expect. Jack and Carol’s home has 5 beautifully decorated master suites with each having its own bathroom that will make you go wow when you first see it. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated with warm soothing colors to make you feel like you never want to get out of bed. The kitchen is a gourmet cook’s delight. The kitchen is filled with all the cooking utensils needed to prepare any type of meal. The family room has plush sofas that will put you to sleep in a very short time. My elderly parents particularly liked the elevator in the house. Mom wanted to sleep upstairs and Dad wanted to sleep downstairs. My father refused to sleep up stairs until he saw the elevator. That solved that problem! If you are a water person, well you have 2 choices. You can take a 3 minute walk to the beach or you can step out of either downstairs bedroom or the family room into the heated infinity pool or heated spa. The spa was my favorite. The pool area overlooked a lagoon. The view is stunning! We actually saw an alligator in the lagoon! We know this review sounds like an advertisement. However we were so impressed with this house and how well prepared it is to accept multiple guests. It makes it very difficult not to sound like an advertisement. Jack and Carol put together their home with great detail to make our visit a special one. They thought of everything! We left everything behind for the 4 days for peace and relaxation. We found it in Jack and Carol’s home. Guess what? We’ll be back!

We were at Kiawah for your sons wedding and stayed in this wonderful home. It is better than described and the photos. We had guests over that were staying in condos and the Inn. There is plenty of room for enjoyment and entertainment. I was shocked at the excellent furnishings in this home. Jack called and offered his assistnace it needed. Wonderful people to rent from.

Great house, super beach access, all the amenities and more. We stayed in a large house last year but this house by far was the better value. Magnificent kitchen, plenty of luxury touches and just about every kitchen tool known to man. Pool and jacuzzi were great for the kids while the adults had plenty of places to escape for a minutes peace. The ice maker in the screen porch was especially usefull for filling the cooler for a long day at the wonderful beach. The elevator is also a nice touch and became indispensable for unloading and loading. Saw a deer from the front porch one morning as well as several on evening bike rides. We hated to leave and plan to return next year.

We had a great time at the House. The kitchen has all the amenities needed to cook a great meal. Coming back to the pool and hot tub from the beach allowed us to continue to enjoy the beautiful weather we had. Not a drop of rain all week! We've been coming to KIAWAH for 18 years and this was the best place we've stayed in so far.

This house and its location is worth flying across country for. It has all the modern conveniences you would want with southern charm and comfort built in. We ran on the beach everyday and came back to jump in the pool. We spent more time at the house than we anticipated because we were enjoying it so much. I recommend bringing your closest friends, family or lover to relax and kick back in Kiawah. I'll be back for sure.

We've been vacationing on Kiawah for 20 years. When we decided to get the whole family together for an 80th birthday celebration, we found this beautiful home. Everything surpassed our expectations. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. The kitchen had everything our resident gourmet chef required. The home was decorated beautifully and the bathrooms were each unique. It was easy to work with the owners. Our questions were all answered promptly. We look forward to returning to this lovely home in the future.

I love this house. Absolutely the best bedrooms/bathrooms, each is different and unique. The area has walking/biking paths all around and to the beach. This is not a stripped house. It has all the comforts of home and more...Special surprise this year: the beach was covered with sand dollars(early March).

We had an absolutely wonderful time while staying in Kiawah Island. The home is beautiful with every amenity imaginable. Every bathroom is unique as is each bedroom. The hot tub is always my favorite place to relax, but this year I very much enjoyed the tranquility of the front porch. The home is only a 3 minute walk to the beach and we found LOTS of sand dollars this year. We love this wonderful home and great get-a-way and would highly recommend it to others.

Beautiful home. 5 golfers rented this house and were delighted when we walked in the front door. The house is huge - lots of common space. Each guy had their own suite. Every bedroom is magnificent. The master suite is so relaxing and spacious. Looking forward to a return trip and another rental of your property. We made many a meal in the gourmet kitchen. Everything you would need to fix a great meal is there at your fingertips. Kiawah Island is a great place to vacation and your home made it even better.

We recently stayed in this home during a week long vacation with some friends. The pictures of the house are wonderful, but we were even more surprised and delighted when we arrived. This home is immaculate! The pictures and description don't even begin to describe how wonderful this home is. The home is situation on the lagoon and is only a 3 minute walk from the beach. Absolutely Amazing! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be looking into returning back next year!

Since 1979 our family has made trips to Kiawah Island. Not every year but several times in the last 30 years. (Means we are really old). This home by far has been the best we have stayed in. Very comfortable and easy access to the ocean. We are looking forward to returning in 2011. Owners were extremely easy to work with and provided more than was expected.
