Located in a quiet courtyard with the charm of Old Italy, our two-bedroom condo is the perfect place for a fun-filled vacation or a business trip. A delightful alternative to hotels for your Boston stay, our fully-furnished North End second floor walk-up condo has Old World Charm but with all the modern features including a large, newly-renovated fully tiled bath. The kitchen is furnished with everything you will need to prepare a meal, including microwave, stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, toaster, and coffee maker. In the living room, a comfortable futon awaits. There, you will also find a wall-mounted 32-inch flat-screen TV and a DVD player. Cable TV, wireless internet, and a telephone with unlimited long distance calls to the USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico keep you in touch with the world. The unit is very clean and well-maintained. An iron, ironing board, alarm clock radio, and hair dryer are provided. For your convenience, a washer and dryer are located in a closet just outside the door to our condo. The master bedroom has a queen bed with a new Simmons Beauty Rest mattress. The second bedroom is located at the other end of the condo and features two twin beds with new Simmons Beauty Rest mattresses. This condo is perfect for up to four people and is filled with natural light from six large windows. Central heat and 3 window air conditioners will keep you comfortable.

Located a block off the Freedom Trail and around the corner from the North Church, our condo is the perfect spot if you want to be in the center of the action, but on a quiet, safe, short street. Walk the cobblestone streets like Paul Revere and America's ancestors, or take a trek on the new Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway which connects to many sights including shopping new (Banana Republic, Crate and Barrel, Gap, Ann Taylor, Macy's) and old, including vintage old world shops. Also nearby are Copp's Hill Burying Ground, Paul Revere's House, and the Bunker Hill monument. The T, Boston's public transportation system, nearby and easy to use, will take you quickly to outlying areas, including Harvard and Cambridge. We are within easy walking distance of most Boston attractions and are a block away from Boston Harbor with its many restaurants featuring chowder and local fish dishes.

Boston's North End is a diner's mecca, with more than 100 restaurants and bakeries only a short distance from our condo. Whether you desire authentic Italian or more contemporary dining, you can find it all in the North End.

We are an easy commute to Boston's Logan International Airport as well as to Amtrak stations. It is just a ten-minute cab ride from the Airport and a ten-minute ride to the Amtrak Trains to New York. The "T" goes to both. You do NOT need a car to get around the city if you are staying in the North End.

  • We would strongly recommend staying at this condo. It was clean and well furnished, and had everything that we needed with a lot of extra conveniences that you could not begin to get in a hotel room. The condo is located in the middle of a residential neighborhood, and we felt very safe and right at home. It is very conveniently located, with fabulous restaurants and bakeries nearby, and public transportation just a short walk away. The condo is also within walking distance to several historical attractions. We would definitely like to stay here again when we return to Boston. The owners, Carlos and Cheryl, were extremely helpful and accommodating, and truly a pleasure to deal with. Thanks again, Cheryl and Carlos!!

  • This rental property was really great - the apartment was very well kept and in a perfect location. For someone who has not visited Boston before, the rental is a couple of blocks away from the Freedom Trail and lots of historic areas. The North End was full of life and we really enjoyed staying there. The owners were easy to work with and always accomodating, and the price is reasonable. I would absolutely recommend this rental property!

  • We spent three nights during the end of August at the Gaskin's condo. My wife, two daughters, and I had a great time. The condo was the perfect size for the four of us and was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. This condo is a fantastic alternative to your "run of the mill" hotel. The North End of Boston is a fantastic neighborhood with more to see than we could accomplish in three days. The Gaskins were great to deal with and we would absolutely rent from them again.   • This was my 1st VRBO experience and I'm happy to report that it's very positive! Carlos and Cheryl Gaskin are exactly what you want in renting property agents/owners. Communication was quick and informative. My wife, son and I enjoyed the 2nd floor walkup condo in an awesome circa 1899 building. The condo was very comfortable and the beds were very cozy. I discovered a couple of fans that came in useful even though the 3 air conditioning units worked great! Everything was clean and very well stocked. It really felt like home away from home! There were a couple of items in the bathroom that required attention but I'm sure the Gaskins were quick to respond to those. As noted in previous reviews, the condo is very well located within walking distance of everything you'd need!

  • We spent 5 days in 4th Bennet Ct, coming from Paris and really enjoy it. Though the condo is in the very crowdy "Italian suburb", it was very quiet and convenient. Cheryl's tips were really helpful. We highly recommend the place for a nice stay in Boston.

  • The Gaskins condo in the North End is in a fabulous location (within walking distance to the best Italian restaurants this side of the Atlantic and the T), it is well-supplied, and nicely decorated. The Gaksins are professional and courteous to rent from. The location is very convenient to explore Boston; but do be prepared to walk ~10 minutes to the subway system (Haymarket stop or Aquarium.) We stayed as a family with 3 young children. Other parents might like to know in advance there is no bathtub, only a shower. There are several playgrounds nearby (including a very nice one at Christopher Columbus Park). We would definitely visit again!

  • Our family (husband, daughter and Judy)enjoyed the old, quaint apartment and found it nicely decorated with everything in order. It was clean with clean pillows, duvet and mattress. The place made us feel almost like "Bostonians". Our daughter especially enjoyed having her own space as her bedroon was at the opposite end from ours. There were plenty of dishes and appliances that all worked. The entire place presented as light and airy and I loved the slightly slanted floors and the lack of right angles. Overall we very quickly felt right at home and would use this accommodation again. In addition Carlos was immediately very accommodating with any questions we had during the booking stage. The LOCATION was absolutely superb! So very much to see/eat was within walking distance and we were also able to make it downtown with a few short breaks. Long Wharf is close by and we frequently went there to book ferry rides and even made a terrific trip to Salem.There were restaurants and bakeries all around us and I had the most decadent apple struddle at Mike's Pastry. If I had to name anything that could be improved, I would suggest blinds on the windows over and above the white flowing curtains for sleeping in longer...........but then we would have missed seeing more of Boston. All and all, I would highly recommend this to other travellers.

  • We just returned from Boston and had a fabulous time. The North End has long been my favorite area to visit, but this is the first time we've been able to stay there. The condo was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The location simply can't be beat - just around the corner from much of Boston's best dining and history! We had a blast and hope to make a return visit! It was also great to have the second bedroom for our daughter - beat the heck out of a hotel! I highly recommend these accommodations!

  • Thank you very much for this 5 day escape from Europe. Your apartment was very convenient for us, especially with the two bedrooms (for bad snoring). The location is very central, no need to rent a car to explore the city. The apartment is clean and cozy and we found everything we needed to feel home away from home.
