3 bedroom, 2 full bath, single level condo sleeps 6. Located in the Tahoe Donner area of Truckee it is conveniently located near many ski resorts, wonderful restaurants and outdoor fun.
There is a Queen bed in the master bedroom with cable TV and a private bathroom. The second bedroom has a Queen bed as well. The third bedroom has a trundle bed which is 2 twin beds for the kids or it can convert into another Queen bed. This room also has a desk for anyone needing to sneak a little work into the vacation. There is also a Queen blow-up mattress available if needed.
The main area of the condo has an open floor plan for gathering between the kitchen, dining room and living room. Wireless access, DVD/VCR, Cable TV and a stereo are available for use with a small selection of movies for entertainment. The kitchen is fully stocked with plate ware, pans and spices. There is a back deck ready for summer BBQ's and morning coffee.
There are hiking & nature trails with a stream and beaver pond and bird watching directly behind the cabin. Tahoe Donner Resort is a family ski hill just up the road for which we offer discounted lift tickets - inquire with our reservationist. The kids will love the options for sledding in the winter and the full amenities at the Recreation Center including pools, and playground.
Tahoe Donner is a wonderful, mountainous resort community with its own small downhill ski area, a fantastic cross country ski center, a sledding hill, small market/deli, and Recreation Center. The Rec Center offers hot tubs, heated pool, fitness center, saunas, health spa, tennis courts, downhill and cross country ski resorts, equestrian center, Golf Club with 18-hole course and driving range, a public restaurant (The Lodge at Tahoe Donner), and a private beach on Donner Lake. Tahoe Donner is conveniently situated at the upper west end of Truckee. It is 5 minutes to downtown shopping and restaurants, and 10-30 minutes to ski area resorts including Tahoe Donner, Northstar at Tahoe, Squaw, Alpine Meadows, Sugarbowl, Soda Spring, Donner Ski Ranch, and Royal Gorge Cross Country Center.
This rental includes access cards for the Tahoe Donner Recreation Center resident amenities. A nominal charge applies for some activities.
