DREAMCATCHER COTTAGE
Palm trees are everywhere, their shade casting a spell of calm and ease. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood is a 3-story, 4-bedroom+tower, 3-bath cottage that combines the best of the beach – convenience with a sense of belonging. The décor is traditional yet stylish, the layout modern yet cozy. Take in a view of the Gulf from the top story, or kick back with a drink on the deck that has been built around a palm tree. Gather the family in the living room before the 36” flat-screen TV beneath the ceiling fan, or keep the chef company with a drink in the kitchen. The dining room seats 8, while the granite kitchen countertop seats 4. The deck off the kitchen has a gas grill and a glass table with seating for 8. In the evening, kick back for a quiet hour with your spouse on the front deck.
Dream Catcher has one bedroom on the first floor and three on the second floor. The third floor is a den with a sleeper-sofa, and makes a great room for the kids to play checkers, backgammon or watch TV. The laundry room is on the first floor, behind the bi-fold doors off the kitchen, and a full washer and dryer. Outside is an outdoor shower, perfect for a quick, cool rinse after a day at the beach.

Enjoy your free bike cruiser along the Timpoochee Trail, a 19-mile long, paved path running the length of Scenic Highway 30A. Access to the beautiful aquamarine waters of the Emerald Coast is quick and easy. Leaving Dream Catcher, you head off to the right until you come to the neighborhood entrance. Cross the street (Gulf View Heights Street) to the bike path and turn right. Gulf View Heights Beach is just 200 yards away. Here you’ll have access to a men’s and women’s room, outdoor shower, along with all the excitement of a small beach community. Two shaded picnic areas, with 4 tables each, make a perfect place for lunch.
Want to explore Scenic Highway 30A? Head north on Gulf View Heights Street, and 30A is straight ahead. WaterColor and Seaside are just 6 miles to the east, while Alys and Rosemary Beaches are 12 and 13 miles, respectively. In the mood for some retail therapy, the shops and restaurants of Grand Boulevard, with Silver Sands Factory Stores designer outlet just beyond. Five miles further is Destin Commons lifestyle center, with Bass Pro Shops and Rave Motion Picture theatre. An easy drive to the east is Panama City’s new Pier Park, outdoor shopping mall with over a million square feet of specialty shops, retailers, restaurants and movie theater.
