This was our best stay yet in Bucerias!!! This condo is definitely all that it is described to be. We were most pleasantly surprised to finally find a place that is truly stocked with everything - and 'everything' is clean, high quality and abundant. The location is perfect. It is close to shops, beach bars, restaurants yet the beach right in front is never crowded - even during the busiest Easter season!! It is a great place to enjoy as little or as much as you want. Even if you don't want to ride the banana boat, hang glide or ride a horse down the beach - you can enjoy the fun of watching those who do. Thanks Alan & Lindy!!

My husband and I just spent a week at this amazing condo. Part of me is afraid to rave too much about this place because I'm afraid if I do it will never be available to rent. Having said that this place has it all. The location is perfect if you are looking for a quiet get a way, the pool and beach are never crowded and yet the town of Bucerias is only a 5 minute walk. The condo has everything you'll need and then some. The owners are great about giving you lots of information and tips and also responding to any questions that you might have. We will definitely be back!!

We just returned from 3 glorious weeks in Bucerias and can honestly say it was one of our most relaxing holidays, Having been in Puerto Vallarta on numeroous vactions before we did not feel we had to take in too many toristy venues. This was one of the most beautiful condo units we have ever stayed in and would highly recommend it to anyone. The unit is right on the beach so each morning you can open up the sliding glass doors and listen to the roar of the ocean. The balcony wraps around the whole unit and is fully furnished with beautiful rattan tables and chaisr and also has rattan loungers for your afternoon siesta. Inside the condo, the owners have taken great care in decorating the unit and it is fully stocked with everything a vactioner could hope for. The pool area was always very quiet, never had to worry about getting a chair and we met some wonderful people throughout our stay. Mega was a great place to shop everything you needed right there so we would take the bus for 60 cents and then take a taxi home. Taxi drivers were always very helpful and would always be at your disposal outside of Mega. The one thing I would definately check out next time is the taxi service form the airport. Upon our arrival we went directly to the Taxi stand just at the exit of the Airport. We were quoted 450 pesos for the ride to Bucerias, so we paid and then when we got into the van they put us in with another couple going to Neuevo and charged them a seperate fair. So in essence the taxi driver was paid 650 pesos. On our return trip to the Airport the taxi driver from Buserias only charged us 250 pesos which seemed more reasonable than the Airport Taxi Drivers. I would definately barter at the Airport next time or take the bus for about 40 pesos each if you know the lay of the land. Thank you Alan and Lindy for a memorable vation, we wanted for nothing except beautiful weather and for our vaction to never end.

We had a great week in this wonderful condo. The view is to die for. The condo is at the quieter end of the beach yet close to restuarants and shops. The condo itself is extremely well appointed and very luxurious and secure. Should you rent a car there is gated underground parking. The photos in the ad do are great but not do the condo justice. The actual views are breath taking. Its so nice you just don't want to leave the condo. The condo was very clean and well maintained. The owners were very helpful and anwered all our questions honestly. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives. I would recommend taking the bus or taxis to the Mega store for food and drink. We spent about $100 on lots of food, four bottles of wine and a case of beer. There are a number of good restaurants within walking distance for those who do not want to cook for themselves. There is also a barbeque down by the pool that can be used.

We have just returned from another 3 week stay in Condo Playa y Cielo - our second visit in less than a year. We have been visiting Bucerias for many years and this is the first time we have made a return visit to the same condo. Why? No surprises last year - exactly as stated in VRBO. Also, you cannot beat the location - right on the beach with amazing views from the wrap-around terrace. The kitchen is fully stocked and enables you to prepare your own meals. We enjoy eating out and again visited many of the restaurants. We had wonderful meals at Encore while listening to the live Jazz Band and Armi's singing, Two favourite breakfast spots close to the condo are Los Pericos and Marco's - great food and great value. The Mega store is a short taxi ride away and anything you need can be purchased there. Our only regret is that we will not be going next year but we will be back !!! Thank you Alan & Lindy for once again sharing your condo in paradise with us !!!

We stayed in this beautiful condo from Nov. 10 – 19 and we couldn’t have been more pleased with it from the moment we walked in. The views are spectacular and the furnishings and amenities are excellent. It has everything you could ever need for your stay. Lindy and Alan are very responsive and helpful owners and were a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely recommend this condo for anyone visiting the Bucerias area.

My husband and I stayed here from June 3-11 and enjoyed every minute! From the moment we walked in, it was evident that Lindy and Alan really understood how to go that extra mile for their tenants. The view amazing, the decor and furnishings - perfect. The amount of space was more than suitable. 2 couples could easily be comfortable here. The location was wonderful. Close to everything but a little bit secluded too. We walked everywhere - and I mean EVERYWHERE. On day 2, we took a stroll and found ourselves at the Paradise Bay resort in Nuevo...my pedometer read 12.1km and we still had to walk back! Pretty much everything else including shopping, restaurants, pubs & anything you could possibly need or want, was within a 10 minute radius. We even went to the dentist in Bucerias for a one hour cleaning with hygienist! Great experience all the way around. The only possible thing that I can say was missing at the condo - and this is grasping....is a full length mirror. Definitely not a must but it would have been nice on those evenings that we got dressed up all fancy for dinner. We both highly recommend this condo to anyone that wishes to travel to the Bucerias area. You will NOT be disappointed! Thank you Lindy & Alan!

This beautiful corner unit condo, right on the beach, is pure luxury! It had everything we needed and more. We LOVED staying here! The condo was clean and classy as was the pool and the condo complex. It is close to stores and restaurants and the friendly people of Bucerias. We will definitely be back!

Nous sommes deux couples autour de la soixantaine qui avons passé quelques huit jours en avril 2011 dans ce magnifique et confortable condo. Nous y avons trouvé tout ce qui est nécessaire pour un séjour agréable. La vue est magnifique ; nous conservons des souvenirs mémorables de nos soupers sur le balcon au coucher du soleil. Nous nous sentions en sécurité à Bucerias ; ce charmant village dispose de tous les commerces nécessaires et on y retrouve de délicieux restaurants. Bien situé, le condo est à proximité de tout, mais au calme à l’extérieur du centre d’activités de Bucerias. Merci aux propriétaires Lindy et Alan ainsi qu’à Sally, la gérante de l’immeuble, pour les nombreuses informations fort utiles pour l’organisation de notre séjour. Nous avons hâte d’y retourner.

A Wonderful Experience

We spent three weeks in March at Lindy & Alan's condo. What a terrific time we had. We have been to Bucerias many times and have rented various homes and condos. This is the first time we have actually booked a return stay for the following year at the same condo !!! The condo has all the amenities of home - from the well stocked kitchen to supplied toiletries to Shaw satellite TV. The view is spectacular and offers amazing sunsets. We ate at great restaurants - from those right on the beach to the ones we re-discovered throughout Bucerias ..... and all a short walk from the condo. We are counting the days to our return visit next February.

The condo has everything you will ever want or need. The view from the third story balcony was amazing. The wrap around deck insured you always had as much sun as anyone would ever want. We loved living in Bucerias, the condo is only a short walk away from fanastic collection of restaurants and bars. We can't thank Allan and Lindy enough for allowing us to rent their home away from home. Made for a fabulous vacation, we will definitely look at renting from them again in the future.

Pure Paradise

I just returned from Condo Playa y Cielo and had a most excellent experience there. I was greeted on time by the property manager, Sally, and she helped get my bags up and showed me around, where everything was and how to work all the electronics and got me on the Internet. She didn't leave until I was totally satisfied. My first impression was how awesome the view is and the beach out front is spotless. Condo staff work constantly to keep it that way. The Bay is spectaculor from the condo. It has a wrap-around terrace with plenty of accomodations for relaxing and dining. My second impression was how spacious and clean eveyrthing was. It's kept in perfect order. Then I noticed as I was making my list for Mega that my list was much smaller than usual. The owners provide so many staples that most condos don't have like excess tissue and paper towels and even condiments and seasonings, foil and plastic wrap. The kitchen had everything you could ever want. The shower water pressure was great which you don't always find to be the case in Bucerias. The air conditioner cooled off in minutes, but I found after being there a while that AC was not often needed because of the cool ocean breezes. There was great satelite TV reception and a docking station for my I-phone. The location is great...easy walking distance to lots of eating and shopping, as well as neighboring towns like La Cruz...walked down to Ana Bananas and the La Cruz Yacht Club. The condo was so cool and comfortable and the furnishings were very nuevo Mexico...very traditional and yet contemporary. You will love the neighbors if you are lucky to have them there when you come. I met several and they were all very hospitable. I travelled alone and never worried once about security. It's 24/7 and very reassuring when you are alone. I rented a car and the condo garage was easy in and out and well lit. The maintenance and security staff were so nice and always wanting to help with whatever you may need. Lindy and Alan, thanks so much for having me in your gorgeous home. I'll be back!!!

Relaxing Modern condo in a charming Mexican town

When searching for a place to experience Mexico outside of Puerta, I stumbled upon this condo. The photos were enticing and Bucerias sounded like the tranquil little town with charm that I wanted to visit. This trip was exactly what I expected and more! The pictures really convey the feel of this condo. Very large, clean, everything new, well designed, magnificent views. But what you can't see are all the details in the kitchen and around the unit. The owners have thought of everything! Only thing missing were a couple of beach chairs to take down to the beachfront (though the pool is gorgeous and you can always get a chair to sit by it). And I would have an enjoyed a DVD player (though there is an ipod dock to listen to music in the condo and satellite TV with tons of Canadian and US channels.) The people in this building are so kind we felt like one of the family by Day 2. Most of them don't rent and stay there for many months of the year. Really LOVELY people. And we felt we made friends since we were by the pool most days. And the building is at the end of the beach that is less busy so you can be away from it all during the day and stroll into town at night. Bucerias is a sleepy little town with loads of charm. You can walk everywhere - you don't need a car which was lovely! Lots of local shops and markets, so many restaurants you could eat at a different one every night for a month, and a gorgeous beach. We enjoyed watching Kite Surfing, picking up beach glass, and swimming in the water. We loved breakfast at Paninos almost daily with great coffee, amazing french toast, pastries (green shutters on your way into town), and there was an Art Walk while we were there to talk with artists in the galleries- really nice. The owners have a guide detailing almost every restaurant you could want although the kitchen in the condo is a fantastic place to cook many nights...and a grill by the pool. The condo is well laid out if you wanted to go with another couple. We might return with friends, so we can share this place with others. If you want a romantic or relaxing place to get away from it all, an authentic feel for small town Mexican life, and very unique clean, modern, amenities filled home away from home on a gorgeous beach - this is the place for you!

The Diagonal Condo was absolutely perfect in every way. Better than being at home because it was sunny and warm! The view from the balcony was stunning,the building was first class and the condo unit itself was spotless. There was not a thing we wanted or needed that wasn't there. Little touches like shampoo,shower gel, paper towel, coffee, sugar and other condiments, were included. There was a kitchen complete with all cooking utensils, and lots of bedding and towels. The condo was top notch with all the amenities of home (including the Canadian satellite TV feed which was icing on the cake as we were able to watch local news and smile as we saw the aftermath of the snowstorm that happened back home while we enjoyed sunshine and heat!). The wireless Internet was an added bonus, and allowed us to check emails as we enjoyed our morning coffee on the balcony. Listening to the sound of the surf as the ocean breeze blew in through the open windows at night lulled us to sleep. The whales and dolphins that we saw during the daylight hours were surreal - we couldn't believe what we were seeing. Imagine, enjoying a cocktail as you watch whales breaching in the ocean, all right off the balcony. We didn't need to take any tours as the sights were right in front of us. And the condo - the pictures and description of the condo on the VRBO site are bang on accurate. We could not believe how nice everything was. Our expectations of Mexico are always a bit lower in terms of standards, but your place blew this misperception out the window, as it was definitely top notch. We had everything we wanted. Thanks so much for all the attention to detail. We wanted to plan our 2011 trip before our 2010 one was even done. The condo was exactly what we envisioned—beautiful and spacious and clean. There were no details overlooked, from an I-pod dock and speakers to spices and lotions and shampoo. My husband and I had a very relaxing week and enjoyed our meals outside on the balcony. Grocery shopping is easy, either by car to the Mega (about 10 min. drive) or walk to local shops. Be sure to visit the local market on Sundays—just follow the riverbed upstream and you’ll get there. Bucerias is a great place to get away from it all.
