The Blue Moon Cabin offers peace of mind and enjoyment. Located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley this rustic yet modern cabin is perfect for a family vacation or a romantic getaway. The Blue Moon Cabin features two bedrooms, both with queen beds, and a double futon in the loft. The fully equipped kitchen leads to a spacious dining room and living room area with hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, and is complemented by a gas log fireplace. Outside on the deck in beautiful wooded surroundings there is a Hot Tub for relaxing in the fresh mountain air. The cabin is Non Smoking and pets are welcome!
Open year round, Blue Moon Cabin is located at the doorstep of some of the finest outdoor recreation anywhere in the country. If you would like to add an adventure, Shenandoah River Outfitters Canoe Company is just a short walk from the cabin. Other popular attractions such as Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, and Luray Caverns are all within a 30 minute drive. My husband, two children and I stayed at the cabin for 3 nights in April. The cabin is very clean, comfortable, and well stocked w/appliances and the comforts of home. There are several small towns very convenient to this location. The hot tub is private and clean/maintained. We enjoyed this stay and would recommend it to others. Our bedlington terrier enjoyed romping through the woods and poking his nose in the stream bed at the bottom of the property (which backs to the national park). The property is not completely secluded, there are neighboring homes, but this does not detract from the experience. I had the most unbelievable stay in this cute cabin. The bed was so comfy my friends thought they heard a bear. It was just me snoring away! Great vacation spot!
