Our newly renovated home is located on Grindstone Island in the Thousand Island region of upstate New York in the St. Lawrence River. You need a boat to get to this private getaway. There are many marinas that rent if you do not own or care to travel with your own boat, please inquire and we will offer you some names of marinas to choose from. It was updated in June of 08. It has a fully equipped kitchen. Full size washer and dryer.
All linens and towels are provided. It has a beautiful brand new outdoor commercial gas grill, outdoor furniture, use of phone for local calls. TV, DVD, X-box and plenty of movies from our video library. The cottage has its own private dock that holds two boats and we provide a mainland dock at French Creek Marin for when you need to go in to town.
The house is kid friendly and pet friendly, call for info. It is a non smoking environment. Local attractions are: Private fishing charters for the die hard fisherman, Bolt Castle, Singer Castle, Clayton Boat tTurs, Thousand Island Museum, Wellesley Island Nature Center, antiquing, golfing and local gift shops and restaurants in Clayton, NY. Enjoy fishing, swimming and boating or just relaxing and watching the beautiful sunrises or sunsets from one of our multi level decks. Our Boat dock is great for swimming off of, we have a ladder that you use to get yourself back onto the dock. Enjoy!!
