The cottage is very well maintained and super clean. Very well equiped and the internet worked great. The bed had good quality linens and was very comfortable.We had a wonderful relaxing peaceful week. Its also in a very good central location for all the areas attractions.

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Our family had a great time! The house is very well kept and is just a 2 minute stroll to a great beach. It's the perfect size for our extended family of 7 (3 of them being kids between the ages of 8 & 15) as there are separate seating areas for us to spread out in to watch TV (2), play cards and board games or sit quietly and read a book or surf the internet. And we managed to do it all within the week. Also, it was wonderful to have the linens and bath towels supplied - one less thing to have to think about and transport on our vacation. Thank you so much for a fabulous stay! We're already looking forward to coming again this year!

Wlcoming and Comfortable

John and Nancy, the owners of the property, were extremely kind, helpful and welcoming. They went out of their way to meet our needs at very short notice. The property is clean, comfortable and very well-maintained. It is in a quiet area with the beach only a very short walk away. It is a perfect location and perfect accommodation for a family holiday.

Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

Charming home walking distance to the beach

My family and I stayed here in July of last year. It is a great little home that is very warm and inviting and has all the ammentities you would need to enjoy a nice stay at the beach. The beach (Pricilla) which is right at the end of the street is absolutely beautiful and not crowded. I would recommend this home to any friend. I hope to get back there again.

Sleeps 8, absolutely no exceptions!

This house is lovely, but the experience was extremely disappointing. Because we had more than 8 people (the two extras were little kids who could have slept on the floor), some of us were asked to seek other accommodations. We were looking forward to sharing the house with close family from the west coast. Instead our family of four (with the two little kids) had to rent a rustic cabin half an hour away (all we could afford at $100 a night) and drive to visit the house every day, an added expense that put a damper on our vacation. We are a quiet family who spent most of the time out and about, rather than being in the house. The owners could have been more flexible, but chose not to be. I wouldn't say it ruined our vacation but it certainly made for a negative experience.

One of the ways we accomplish this is by setting the numbers of travelers that the property can accommodate both for the comfort of the current visitors as well as those who will be coming in after them. Our listing clearly states, sleeps a maximum of 8 people. We make every effort to accommodate all requests from our visitors. Although they sent an e-mail saying they were a party of 8, when they arrived, the actual total they wanted to stay at the house was 12. For over 35 years our family has stayed at many different types of lodging around the world and we have found the best way to avoid a negative experience is to always be honest and upfront about the number of people in our party. This way, upon our arrival, we are not expecting the property owners to make exceptions.
