An Historic Setting:
The Boathouse is over 100 years old. The original purpose being a working boathouse for boat building and repair. The renovation began in 1996.
It sits on granite, supporting a fifty foot concrete deck. The deck and house are surrounded on three side by the lake, giving one the feeling of being on a ship.
The views are expansive, leaving one in awe! The furnishings and amenities have been described by renters as elegantly comfortable.
The Boathouse on Long Lake is a place that you will want to return to!
A Four Season Destination:
In the summer enjoy swimming, boating, fishing..right from the deck! We also have many beautiful hiking and climbing opportunities close by.
Don't miss the breath taking autumn foliage! During the winter months snowmobiling, cross country ski, downhill ski, skate, ice fish and fall in love with the scenic Maine winter>>> all from The Boathouse!
The Main House:
Will sleep ten. It has three bedrooms and a large sitting/sleeping area on the second floor. There is a full bath on each floor.
The bedrooms feature a nautical theme with custom Oak Captain beds that provide great sleeping and expansive views. The bathrooms are of the era, with all the modern upgrades.
